Mega Man 3 in Unreal Engine 4 Update - Shadow Man's Stage

Handré De Jager is back with another look at his fantastic Mega Man 3 Unreal Engine 4 project. This time we get a peek at Shadow Man's stage and some early Rush Coil footage. Though the mechanics aren't quite ready yet, Rush Coil is looking mighty fine. It's hard to believe one guy is behind this!

Stay tuned for more updates... we may yet have that public demo!

  1. Mega Man's model and walking animation still need work, but De Jager should keep up the good work!

    2. You're not the only person to make this mistake, but DEFINITELY and DEFIANTLY are two very different words. I'm guessing it is an autocorrect error.

    3. Dang, you're right, didn't even notice. That was auto correct.

  2. It is most definitely improving, I can say that much. Say what you want about the animation and modeling etc but at least this guy is creating his own HD assets and not rehashing old 8-bit sprites, which big company Capcom isn't even doing.

  3. This looks gorgeous! Tha animation is kinda off but it`s fixable, this and megaman corrupted both are my top 2 expected non oficial megaman games for the 20xx lol.

  4. While being one of his most vocal critic's, I have nothing but respect and admiration for this dev. Yes, the animation is a little off, and yes the models are a little wonky. But it's a work in progress, and the dev takes constructive criticism very well. He is putting a lot of hard work and effort into this project, and it really shows.

  5. So this is a full remake project that will get released to the public to play at one point right? I'd hate to think someone would do all this just for kicks.

  6. Everything looks good but Mega still looks a tad off. I think it's a matter of making it too similar to the sprites: for instance his stance, the legs are too far apart, and he's also hunching over a tad. Also the head could be a bit more round.

    1. I don't get what you mean about the head, but for me only the animation looks a little stiff and awkward.
