  1. You know what would really sell me this game? If they somehow managed to get the Rockman 4 Alpha and other prototype versions.

  2. Well it's certainly Mega Man.

I'm curious to see how this does on PC more than anything. Is it exclusive to Steam or will it be available through other means for PC?

    1. Seems like just steam. Disappointing cause I'd rather buy it on GOG.

  3. Only thing I don't like is the modern menus, would have preferred something more 8-bit.

    1. That kind, "the everything 8-bit kind" of mentality is everything wrong with the franchise from my point of view.

    2. Whatever dude, all the games are 8-bit, it would just kind of makes sense.

    4. not sure what that has to do with it, we're talking aesthetic not resolution

    5. Because the artwork despite the resolution is not 8-bit..............................

I already know your solution to that though.

  4. The best part of this game is the extra art and music assets for me. If they did this for and added MM7-10 this would be the greatest collection ever.

  5. Hey, look! Cutman's stage isn't cyan anymore! It... um... s-sky blue... Okay.
Actually, this seems to be mirroring the Nestopia RGB palette. Despite the fact the YUV palette is commonly considered "the truest form of the NES palette".
    ...
Well, at least it isn't cyan anymore!

  6. The colors aren't right... maybe that's an old build. The sky is cyan and the blocks are cyan. Look at this screenshot on the original box: http://img.gamefaqs.net/box/0/8/1/22081_back.jpg.

Also the reds tend to look strangely dark in general.

    1. The yellows are also... loud, to put it flatly. Very... very loud.

    2. I can see what you mean, I'm almost getting a genesis palette vibe on some levels

    3. I don't own the original box, how do I know that scan wasn't altered in any way?

  7. Actually I think it was just an old build, the colors in this video look much better: www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-xHkwTDaJo
