Capcom has announced its Tokyo Game Show 2026 lineup and, sure enough, Mega Man: Dual Override is among the games making an appearance.
While Capcom has not confirmed whether Dual Override will have another publicly playable demo at the show, the game will be featured during a 40-minute Capcom Spotlight presentation on September 16 at 7:00 a.m. PT / 3:00 p.m. BST.
Capcom hasn't revealed exactly what we'll see during the presentation, but hopes are naturally running high for our first look at Proto Man gameplay, and perhaps even the winner of the Robot Master Boss Design Contest.
In addition to the game's appearance at the show, Capcom will be selling a handful of Dual Override merchandise. Most of the lineup was previously revealed, including the Override System hoodie, and tote bags, but there's one notable new addition: a Proto Man version of the "Sound PITA KEY." The NFC-enabled keychain can be scanned with a compatible device to unlock an AR-style Proto Man image for photos, along with music and sound effects from Dual Override.
We'll be keeping a close eye on everything coming out of Tokyo Game Show, so stay tuned!

Probably another Robot Master and stage. Not the poll winner though, that seems like something to save for TGA, based on the Twinkle Girl interview. Maybe we’ll get the release date then too?
ReplyDeleteJust thought I'd mention, an official look at the hoodie being worn is on the e-Capcom website, when I'm pretty sure it wasn't before
