A Closer Look at MDLX Bass and Fourth Armor X Figures

Wonder Festival is underway, and with it comes a closer look at the newest additions to ThreeZero’s MDLX Mega Man line: Bass and Fourth Armor X.

Both figures are still in the prototype stage, but the latest display offers a clearer view of the sculpt work and finer detailing. There’s still no release date just yet, though progress appears to be moving along steadily.

If you’re attending Wonder Festival, you can see them up close at ThreeZero’s booth (7-17-04).

  1. Good to see there's finally an alternative for D-Arts Bass.

    1. New Bass figure is an auto-get. I like my D-Arts figure, but he's so pricey these days that he's hard to recommend to anyone else.

    2. I got tired of his shoulder pads and forearms popping off whenever I tried to pose him, tbh.

    3. I second that one. I thought maybe I just had a design flaw or was just a bull in a china shop, but all my D-Arts figures seem to have that issue if they have shoulder armor of any kind!

    4. I got so annoyed with it, I took a picture of my other figures "Rankin' Bass" with Bass' forearm popped off. I don't have Bass or the picture anymore, unfortunately.

  2. They have also announced Hyper Bomb Megaman. Not sure why this specific weapon, but hey, a new recolor on the way.

  3. I am so sad I wish I was in Japan around the time Wonderfest. You don’t know how badly I want the Guardians/Pandora and Prometheus kits 🥲. These are lovely and I just hope resellers won’t be too expensive!!

    1. If you look now you may get them as close to the original price as possible. I was lucky and someone I know got the megamix megaman and the storm eagle for me but, if I have no choice I'd go to eBay, yahoo Japan, and mercari.jp now to find them.

    2. My only hope is that they make a treble to fit it otherwise I'll have to keep my d-arts one just in case

  4. It's good to see the line expanding, but I'm hoping they can move past products already released by Bandai and Koto. I've always wanted to attend Wonderfest someday and there's still the summer one in July, so who knows...
