Udon Entertainment has opened a sign-up page for a deluxe hardcover edition of Mega Man Adventures Volume 1: A Hero is Built, which will be distributed exclusively through Zoop. While Zoop typically serves as a crowdfunding platform for comic creators, Udon tells me they’re simply testing it out — both the deluxe and standard edition will be released regardless of the campaign’s results. The campaign goes live on November 18th.
To set itself apart from the standard edition, the deluxe hardcover will feature a foil cover, nine trading cards with character bios by Ian Flynn, and a folded poster. Like the standard edition, it includes Archie Comics' Mega Man issues #1–12 with all variant covers, plus an all-new 7-page short story by Ian Flynn and Ryan Jampole.
I really hope this wont be too expensive and i also hope it does well enough for them to do the rest of the Archie series. i'm just worried because everything around gaming seems to just be jumping in price to a ridiculous degree
