Hiya Toys has confirmed that the debut figure in their new Mega Man X line, the Exquisite Basic Series X, is set to release in Q4 2026. That’s still a ways off, but in the meantime they’ve shared several new images of the figure in action along with some intriguing details. Magnetic feet, anyone?
From Hiya Toys PR:
This new EXQUISITE BASIC Series X Action Figure stands 14.5CM tall, faithfully capturing his classic look based on the original design. His signature blue armor features clean and sharp lines, determined gaze and upright posture perfectly embody the guardian style fans remember.
In addition to the default smiling expression, three interchangeable face plates are included: gritting teeth, shouting, and serious. Includes six interchangeable hands and one interchangeable X Buster, while the magnetic soles let you anchor the figure to metal surface for rich customization and dynamic play options.
A separate HIYA LOGO badge features a built-in magnetic control switch that interacts with the X Buster. Bringing the badge close to the cannon activates three lighting modes—Flash, Breathing, and Steady—faithfully recreating the charging effect of X’s iconic Energy Shot. Effect part offer two display styles: a ranged blast scene on a stand, or attach to Buster to recreate his finishing move. With magnetic soles, X can securely adhere to metal surfaces, posed and ready to leap into action.
Price: 54 USD / 63.99 (US Tariff Included)
Release time: 2026 Q4
Pre-orders are not open at this time, but you can find a list of retailers that will sell the figure here.

Man, how many different companies are gonna make X? I can't keep up.
ReplyDeleteStill think his head is too small on this one
ReplyDeleteComparing him to the MDLX one, I think this one has wider shoulders, so it makes his head look smaller.
DeleteIt's his whole body, really. He's a wide boi.
DeleteIt might just be poses, but the shoulders are sagging. That's not good.
DeleteThis looks epic!
ReplyDeleteDon't like the way the face looks on this but, I like the other stuff it comes with. Especially the charged effect
ReplyDeleteI mean it technically looks good, nice and shiny, well articulated… But the proportions are really throwing me off. Not just the head, the body and limbs seem too thick. It looks like a real person in an X costume. Guess that’ll help with certain poses at least.
ReplyDeleteLmao you're right it does look like a guy in a costume
Deletehis face kind of looks like he is experiencing a peanut or shellfish allergy reaction
ReplyDeleteI just noticed, Homie is kinda THIICK
ReplyDeleteThis X figure is cool, he is missing the snatched waist that a lot of art depicts him with but I think I like this more than the MDLX model.
ReplyDeleteThat looks so good that I thought it was a video game announcement.
