To celebrate the launch of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, Sega artist Akira Mikame created this charming countdown illustration featuring the two blue icons, Mega Man and Sonic, with Tails admiring the Rush Roadster and Proto Man watching from a distance.
And that’s not all—Mega Man and Proto Man have also been added to the game’s key visual, with Mega Man behind the wheel of the Rush Roadster and Proto Man riding an Extreme Gear. It’s a little strange seeing the Red Striker absent from the lineup, but the red rocker looks fantastic here, so no complaints.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is out now, with the Mega Man and Proto Man DLC pack set to arrive in 2026. More updates to come!

ReplyDeleteHe's gonna sit outside, and he's gonna LIKE IT.
DeleteThis game was already on my radar after the network test. When I saw the images of the leak, it made definitely put a smile on my face. Now that we've seen the trailer I'm hyped for the game.
ReplyDeleteStill hoping for a new game, but I suppose time will tell. I'll just continue reading the comics until then.
He's already announced for the game trailer is up.
ReplyDeleteYes, we know.
DeleteAll of the crossworld DLCs are set to add a single car per character/theme set, so it'd be out of the norm if they added the Red Striker too. (though it would be cool!)
ReplyDeleteSince SRCW has vehicle customization, that they added a Battle & Chase vehicle is a cool touch since it had a similar mechanic going. Granted, SRCW's vehicle customization is significantly less dramatic than B&C, it's the gadget loadouts that are the real stand-out in terms of building your playstyle.
Fun game! I'm not sure I'll still be playing it by the time the Mega Man DLC releases, but I've been enjoying it so far.
I don't think Blues is riding anything in the updated key visual. He's just doing his Mega Man 10 pose with maybe one foot on the Rush Roadstar's wing.
