Famitsu Wants to Hear From English Fans About Mega Man's 30th Anniversary

In celebration of the blue bomber's 30th anniversary, Famitsu are asking English-speaking fans what they think about Mega Man for an upcoming Mega Man 30th anniversary issue (to be published on May 17th, 2018). You can find the questionnaire here.

The questions are mostly focused about what you like about Mega Man, your favorite game, characters, etc. Your answers may actually appear in the issue! Hit up the link above and send them your thoughts. Please submit your answers by Saturday April 21st at 7:59AM PST.

  1. Done, even if I don't get featured I hope they at least read mine, some of the questions were very strange and difficult to properly answer though.

  2. Filled it and sent it just for the heck of it. Would be fun if it makes it into the magazine.

  3. Favorite character is a hard enough question, asking for my favorite music is just about impossible to answer. There's too much great music in the whole series.

  4. No favorite weapon question in a series focused around getting weapons from your opponents? What?

  5. I would do this but I would be putting in way too much and it would be way too long

    1. Protodude, why do you even allow comments with this amount of vitriol behind them? It does nothing for anyone.

  7. Why is Xover actually acknowledged as an actual Mega Man still? Even Capcom showed it during their MM11 reveal. You'd think they'd wanna bury it with how quick they were to stop supporting that game as well.

    1. Because it was a game that was released, even if it was for a short while? Embarrassing (to the fans) or not, it is part of their history. I'm sure people will mock it more if they erase it anyway...

    2. I'm holding out hope they may remake it some day to become a proper Mega Man game. It's at least an easy premise to work with if they ever want to do a proper, fun crossover.

  10. I don't read Famitsu, or Japanese for that matter. Is there any chance you might post the article when it comes out?

  12. I got it just-in-time! (They extended the deadline to Sunday April 22, 2018 at 6:59AM PST.) I don't expect to appear in Famitsu, but I'm happy to throw my two cents in!

  14. Crap,

I wrote how faithful I was for what was shown of the game so far, but I forgot to ask for a mode where you play as Roll.

  15. Reminds me of the time Capcom did a survey targeting Japan, and people around the world sent their replies in machine translated, mostly broken Japanese. Maybe if they did this questionnaire around that time, the result wouldn't have been so misrepresenting. (but then, I think the staff mentioned they could tell most of them apart).
