More Images of X-Plus Toys Gigantic Zero Figure

At 12-inches (33cm), Zero stands just a bit taller than Roll but smaller than X. Even so, the final figure is looking spiffy...

Zero ships later this May, priced at 10,300 Yen (about $95 US), pre-orders live tomorrow. Do note the Buster in the last two images is exclusive to X-Plys Toys' online store. More images available here.

  1. Why do all Megaman figure lines die with MM Zero? Is it because the un-silent minorities clamor for MMZ figures that ultimately never sell well?

    1. Maybe it's the last interesting (for companies) figure to sale from the franchise, since before like a couple of months ago no one made EXE figures, no one still makes Legends figures or ZX figures... SF figures? Forget about it. Maybe that's it. Who knows.

This figure looks pretty good though.

  2. [flips table] Exclusive Buster!!!! MAN!!! Having raged that, so happy this is being made, it looks amazing...but no Buster in regular release, disappointing.

  3. I don't much care for any iteration of Zero myself, but that's a pretty good figure right there.

  4. Yeah dude because the sales figures were figured out well before the figures release and the declaration of the lines end. Please. The lines end because of reasons that have nothing to do with the character itself.

    1. It actually is believe or not. Kotobukiya Zero model kit didn't sell that well, so they dropped the line. SH Figuarts Zero series Zero didn't sell that well either. And some are saying its because of Bass and the Sigma statue too. Over all, its like if the figure doesn't sell that well then why continue the line, also the profits of figure generally go towards making the next figure in the line so if it doesn't make good sales it ends. SH Figuarts DBZ was actually going to end after SS Vegeta because of bad sales, but its thanks to international fans and sales is what is keeping the line going thus far. Fans voted for Zero series Zero to be made and the figure turn out sucks, lack of weapons, stupid design of the hair, and so no one bought them, yet they voted for it to be made and wanted it, but its like put your money where your mouth is, speak with your wallet. But nope, it did bad in sales and so it killed the line. As to this Zero, theyre already f***ing up by making the buster gun a exclusive so that might deter fans from buying it.

Because other figures in the line sale apparently. I mean it's not like MMZero is the first or second.... or third........ or sometimes even forth... or seventh even (in cases of Bandai). If a company had at least 7 other successful figures in one line why cut the line because of one bad one? Unless they hate money or something.

"SH Figuarts DBZ was actually going to end after SS Vegeta because of bad sales"

Well were the rest immensely popular or was it just the one that didn't sale well, I'm guessing in Japan?

"SH Figuarts Zero series Zero didn't sell that well either." "But nope, it did bad in sales"

How do you know this? I'm actually curious not trying to start something negative.

"And some are saying its because of Bass and the Sigma statue too."

Are they just saying it or do they have proof?

  6. I have to wonder if bad sales are simply a self fulfilling prophecy along with group think. People clamor it's not going to sell and it's the end of the line, it actually doesn't sell and it's the end of the line. =/

    I'm still getting it, regardless.

  7. I don't like MMZ Zero, but the figure looks nice, at least.

  8. I wish they'd make more SH figuarts of both classic and X series. I've got them all, and I'd love to add a Proto Man with Tango and hell, even an Axl to my collection. I like this figure too, but I won't be getting it. Other financial responsibilities and all that jazz.
