First 4 Figures Teases Next Mega Man Figure

First 4 Figures looks to be developing another Mega Man statue. You'd have to be living under a rock* for the past 20-something years to not recognize those legs. Expect the full reveal soon!

(*no offense meant to rock dwellers. It's Zero, okay?)

  1. Hopefully they make it better than the X figure, or at least, hopefully they get the colors right this time.

  2. Why would they even bother teasing if it's so recognizable? Eh, it's not like I'm getting it anyway.

  3. I'll think about getting this, depending on the price and the overall quality in the end.

    1. It will be $200, give or take, guaranteed.

      Yes, they enjoy delivering firm gut-punches to wallets.

  4. This will certainly give me a chance to get caught up on all the other cool Megaman stuff I haven't bought yet.

    I just hope the next one isn't Megaman Zero, because that will spell the end of this line, as it did so many others.

    1. That's the stupidest logic ever.

      Mega Man X = Great sales

      Roll = Great sales

      Proto Man = Great sales

      Bass = Great sales

      Mega Man Zero= Poor sales! Oop! Wait, a single poor seller in a very lucrative line of products? Shut it down, SHUT IT ALL DOWN!

    2. I didn't say it was logical, I was simply stating a time-proven fact.
      Whenever you take a retrospective look at a defunct Megaman figure/statue/model series as recent as 2002, more often than not you'll find Megaman Zero at the far end of it's lifespan.

    3. You'd see it at best, twice. If anything the mindset should be 'wow even MMZ couldn't save this line'. Since whenever you take a retrospective look at requests, his fugures more often than not by far out class the others in popularity polls. Also there is only one example to support your claim, the D-arts line was discontinued before the inclusion of any MMZ figures, and the figuarts line was never officially discontinued. The only legitamate example I could think of is koto, and even then A. It was poor quality and B. I really don't know how it's sales compare to the other figures in the line, it could have very well been the straw that brock the camel's back. Mega Man in general is not that great of a seller, you should know that better than anyone.

    4. Correlation does not imply causation. More realistically, most companies see Classic, X, and Zero as the most solid bets for going to production. Anything else is risky. Probably why we aren't seeing any new Legends figures.

    5. I also say the Zero series is the end of a figure line. Kotobukiya messed up there, as they jumped from one series to a complete other. They should of just sticked to the classic and done like Bass or Rush that can combine with Megaman, or even better actual robot masters! But nope they jumped to the Zero series and boom done! I wouldn't be surprised if SH Figuarts doesn't make any more figures of any Megaman related series given how Zero series Zero sucked, with all its enlongated limbs and dumb ugly hair joint thing. I REALLY hope they don't do anymore Zero series figures as I say those should be left best for the fans and independent sculptors to do, I mean like have you seen all the kits that will be coming out in the up coming festival! Such AMAZING kits!

    6. Those kits are pretty amazing I'm not gonna lie.

  5. After seeing how on point the X-Plus Toys figure/statue is, these First 4 Figures look even further off the mark. Would not purchase for $50, let alone $200. I'm really wondering how First 4 is gauging saleability on a new figure line. It can't be cheap to do all the molds only to find that people don't like the look.

  6. why first 4 figures? why? why do they keep making these? it's really embarrassing! how have they not gone out of business when they can't for the life of them figure out necks and normal human/robot posture?

  7. It's too late but I want to take a guess despite the revealed answer.

    Red legs, has a yellow coloring, thingie in the back, OMG! it's Protomanz!
