Keiji Inafune To Appear At AX2014

Mega Man and Mighty No. 9 fans who are attending Anime Expo in for a special treat, as none other than Keiji Inafune will be in attendance! As a Guest of Honor, Inafune will hold a Q&A panel as well as autograph sessions. Anime Expo 2014 will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center from July 3rd to July 6th.

Inafune's Q&A panels are always good fun, so even if you're not attending, be on lookout for streams and transcripts as they become available!

    1. Though you do say 'just kidding,' I personally wouldn't bother him much about anything Mega Man related. It's out of his hands now - I'd wish him luck with his current projects and endeavors. Let the man do his thing, and when the games come out, get 'em and enjoy them on their own merits independent of the whole Mega Man thing.

  2. I'd rather be tortured for twenty years then set foot in an "Anime Expo".

It should be called "Bad Taste in Everything Expo".

Of course the guy who tipped you off calls himself "ShadowNeko". Sigh. I don't want to live on this planet anymore.

    2. That's ShadowNeko003 to you! Yes, the 003 matters!

And AX isn't for everyone. I can't comment on how it was in the past, but I've been going since 2008 and have enjoy it. If you don't like AX and anime in general, then great, dont come. I'm already going this year and finding out about Inafune coming was a plus (as a matter of fact, the only thing good about going to AX this year for me). I thought Inafune was gonna be harder get now that he's independent from Capcom and was thrilled to know that the people working for AX got him to come. The last time he was in California was SDCC was in 2010, 4 years ago, in a sold out con. Which made it impossible for people to meet him who didnt beat the system of getting a ticket. AX is much easier to get to and in than SDCC, even if you literally plan last minute.

Looking forward to meeting Inafune. I'm still debating what to get signed. My copy of Legends 1 or the 20th anniversary artbook. Decisions, decisions. XD

I also wonder he's open to tell us the story that they were gonna use for DASH 3 on how to rescue Rock...

    3. Well aren't you just a ray of sunshine? If you don't want to live on this planet anymore, just go ahead and go. Make sure you don't let the door hit your ass on the way out.
