Super Smash Bros. - Check Out Palutena's Guidance for Mega Man

If you're a fan of Kid Icarus Uprising and don't mind Super Smash Bros. Wii U spoilers, we have a sneak peak of "Palutena's Guidance" in action. GameXplain tries out Pit's amusing Smash Taunt with Captain Falcon, Ludwig and Mega Man. The footage kicks off with a delightful exchange about our favorite blue robot. See it after the jump!

The exchange between the characters here is likely in reference to Mega Man's big E3 2013 reveal. The net went ballistic.

Thanks, GameXplain!

  1. I'm having such a giggle-fit right now. Especially over the fact the one weapon all three of them get turbo-excited over is Hard Knuckle.

No mention of Top Spin, though? That's one of his best abilities, in this game and in Mega Man 3...

    1. It's like Snake and Otacon geeking out over Captain Falcon last game.

    2. The thing about it though, is that it's true. When we all saw Mega Man we're all like "OH GOD IT'S MEGA MAN OH MY GOD PLEASE HAVE THESE THINGS"

  3. For some reason, this reminds me of Snake's Intercom dialogues with his team and Slippy on Brawl.

  4. Whoever wrote this dialogue needs to be sacked.

    2. Whatever works, as long as they're sacked to death. =P

    3. I sure hope you're not seriously wishing someone death just because you don't like the dialogue they wrote for a video game Easter Egg...

    1. That's because she's voiced by the same person.

    2. Sort of, yeah. She's indeed voiced by the same person in Uprising, but in this game she's voiced by a sound-alike.

  8. The relationship of the Koopa Kids to Bowser is indeed a mystery, but also probably just a "we don't really care" sort of deal by Nintendo, LOL. Looks good. I really enjoyed the bit about Mega Man's different weapons :)

  9. Viridi saying Leaf Shield is quite fitting. XD
