During the special Mega Man: Dual Override stage presentation at Tokyo Game Show 2026, Capcom revealed a brand-new Robot Master: Jet Man!
The high-flying, transforming Robot Master was shown squaring off against Proto Man in a new trailer. Defeating Jet Man will earn players his Special Weapon, Jet Stinger.
Also teased at the end of the trailer is Mega Man using Astro Crush. According to producer Shingo Izumi, Astro Crush is a Custom Chip obtained by defeating Astro Man R. Returning Robot Masters will reward players with Custom Chips based on their classic Special Weapons.

So excited about this! It also sounded like Astro Crush is going to be a Chip, so maybe all of the Robot Master Rs will have this available to use?
ReplyDeleteWhen I first saw robot masters called Jet Man and Boat Man, I worried it would be a little corny because the names and past art style, but this is great. I have a feeling MM12 will sell well, helping MM thrive this time, hopefully, since they did say they plan to bring it back as a major IP, thus this time, selling well could very well help us see sequels in other MM main timeline series, unlike last time, hopefully.
