The annual Sonic Amateur Games Expo is in full swing, bringing fans together to showcase fan-made games, demos and mods. Among this year’s projects is a “demake” of Mega Man: Wily Tower, reimagining The Wily Wars’ bonus mode as its own standalone game in traditional 8-bit style.
But it’s more than just a visual makeover. Developed by ThatEntityGirl, the game also includes a number of quality-of-life improvements and bonus features, including a fully playable Proto Man, optional “improved” versions of the weapons, bonus stages, additional bosses, a boss rush mode, cheats and more.
