Mega Man: Gear Masters Mini Comic Series Revealed

Via Lunar Distribution, UDON Entertainment’s follow-up to Mega Man Timelines has been revealed: Mega Man: Gear Masters. The new classic series title will be written by Tavis Maiden, with art by Ryan Jampole.

Here's the official solicitation:

"Mega Man returns in UDON’s first mini-series starring the classic Blue Bomber! With the threat of a new batch of robot masters, Dr. Light has upgraded Mega Man using the prototype Double Gear system. Problem is, Dr. Wily (the Double Gear’s creator) wants it back… by any means!! 
It’s all-out rumbling robot action in Mega Man: Gear Masters!"

Gear Masters #1 is currently scheduled to arrive in-stores on September 23rd, 2026.

    I love Jampole's art, so it's neat that he's working on an official comic!

    Finally, an actual classic series. I was hoping they were hesitant because they were waiting to see if Mega Man Adventures did well to continue archie, guess not. It's definitely Mega Man 11 based but not a direct adaptation from what I can tell. Will definitely read.
