Rush Confirmed for Jada Mega Man Wave 5

Hot on the heels of Guts Man and Bomb Man, Jada Toys announced at their San Diego Comic-Con panel that Rush will round out Wave 5.

According to Jada, Rush will ship with two bodies: Jet and Coil. Engineering couldn’t quite crack how to make Rush transform, so he’ll be offered as two separate variations. Rush Jet is designed to pair nicely with their previously released Mega Man figure, which can ride on his back. Additional accessories weren’t officially confirmed, but based on the panel slides, Rush appears to come with alternate face parts and what looks like a bone for Mega Man to hold.

Jada did not confirm when Wave 5 will be available. More news on that soon.

    1. Final product needs to have the midsection painted.

You know, Jada's Street Fighter line is impressive. The figures look good and the paint aps are good... Especially since they moved to their 2nd factory. But every time I see one of the Mega Man line, the look off in some way... I wish they would reconsider a few things in their molds.

  2. Pretty rad. I don’t think we’ve ever gotten a full posable figure of Rush, besides the crazy Mega Man X Chogokin thing. Love that it can do New Rush Coil too.

So it’s two releases, one with a normal body and Rush Coil springs, and one with a square body and other parts for Rush Jet? Or does Rush Jet come with a normal Rush body too?

    1. It'll be interesting to see when they start getting MM5 & onward when the RMs start to get more complex designs
(you see it a bit in 4 but some of them still fit in pretty well with the MM - MM3 crowd)

    2. They’d either have to paint them more and charge more (or omit accessories), or have a lot more missing details. For that reason, 5/6 might be prime candidates for “game style” color schemes. As long as they don’t make Napalm Man indigo.

  5. If only Kotobukiya would give us a Rush too. The other Rush's I've bought just don't scale good to their Rock and Roll models.

  6. I was watching an interview with the designer on Youtube, and he says they have some ideas that "don't follow formula" for what they might do next.
