First Look at Jada Toys Guts Man and Bomb Man

Straight from the San Diego Comic-Con showroom floor, Jada Toys gives us our first look at Guts Man and Bomb Man, showcased alongside last year's reveals—Proto Man and Snake Man.

While no additional details have been shared yet, it’s likely these two will be part of Wave 5. As a reminder, Wave 4 includes Proto Man, Snake Man, and Gemini Laser Mega Man.

Here’s hoping we won’t have to wait long for more information—Jada Toys is set to host a panel later this week.

  1. YEEEEEAH BOMB MAN! Though I usually don’t like the CW faces, it’s hard to say no to that wink and smirk.

Guts Man looks good too. Though having his mouth agape like that is a little silly.

    1. Maybe it's an homage to the Ruby-Spears one?

    2. Heh, maybe. Though he’s missing the blue jaw and grey feet. And admittedly, he looks like that in most artwork and sprites, so I can’t really fault them.

    3. His jaw doesn't bother me. That's the way he looks most of the time.
His swimming trunks and yellow shoulders bug me alot. I'll still buy one, but still.

    4. Oh yeah the shoulders are weird. Looks like he’s wearing a tank top. Wonder why they did that… Hope final release can fix it.

    5. @Jark You're right. If I get him, I might paint him in the Ruby-Spears colors for shits and giggles.

  2. Am I imagining things, or is Proto's head a bit big here?

    1. Between this and the ThreeZero figure, he’s getting a little full of himself.

  3. A full set of Mega Man 1 robot masters at last! Thank. You. Jada!

  4. Wave 3 isn't due until October. When will we ever see wave 5?!

    1. October next year, if we’re lucky. It’s kinda crazy how slow the turnaround is for Jada. I can’t imagine say, Hasbro revealing fully painted, production level figures a full year before the ordering window opens. I guess the production scale/pipeline is just that much smaller/slower for Jada. And then companies like LEGO are that much bigger/faster, basically only revealing product when it’s available for purchase.
