Missed out on Mega Man #0 earlier this month? Udon’s got you covered with a store-exclusive variant featuring all four Mega Men, illustrated by Jeffrey "Chamba" Cruz. And for "Mega May," they're running a special promotion: spend $80 on Mega Man goods and receive an exclusive Bad Box Art Mega Man Metal Collectible Card—drawn by none other than Megamix creator Hitoshi Ariga. As far as I know, this is the first time Ariga has drawn the big guy, so it’s a pretty unique addition for anyone who's a fan of his work.
Udon’s Mega May promotion runs through May 30. Check out everything available here!
I like this rendition of BBAMM. Just a normal guy bringing justice while dodging trademark, like Riderman from Kamen Rider V3.
ReplyDeleteMe too. When I first saw the image, I couldn't believe my eyes.
DeleteHe has a cute face.
DeleteThere's a novelty to the old artwork. Even the Tekken x street fighter rendition. However this is a entirely new take that I can't say I hate and wouldn't mind them using in the future
DeleteOh absolutely. The Mega Man 1 cover is still an icon of liberal adaptation from the post-Atari era. And it eventually led to the Mega Man 10 “cover,” which is for my money, the best cover art a 20XX Mega Man game ever got. But I also just like this version where he looks like an actual dude in the universe.
