New Images of TruForce's Mega Man X

We're past the grey prototype stage, people.

  1. I dunno, dude. Those proportions look wack, yo. Might have to do with the small chest or the big head, but wow, I'm not impressed right now.

  2. It looks off to me too, maybe is the large torso. This original design was never appealing to me anyway.

  3. Not sure if my first comment went through.

Other than the head being a little too big and the body being a little too lanky, it looks good to me. I'd love to see the Prototype version though, as that'll be the one I get.

  4. I agree, the proportions look VERY odd???! Is this what we all contributed for, if so, then I might want my money back because not liking what I'm seeing. They should go back to the grey prototype stage and fix things.

  6. Looks fine to me. It's supposed to be different and stylized. Man, such opinionated opinions. =P

    1. I agree. It's just a 3D version of what the artwork showed us, and it's snazzy. =)

  7. I thought this was a knockoff from a foreign Facebook page.

    1. Nope; Kazuhiro Tsuchiya posted them on his twitter.

  8. It does look a little odd. I think elongation is the right word. The first thing I noticed was the length of his hands which I think is a partial result of the figure itself having a slightly elongated form.

Not that I think it looks particularly bad or anything mind you. Just a little different. Like, THIS is the sort of form I would have expected in that cancelled Maverick Hunter game.

  9. It looks fine to me. Better than fine, actually. I really, really want this.

  10. On this day Mega Man fans found a way to be whiney about a glorious thing called PERSPECTIVE and how mysterious and unknown it is to them.

    1. Shut up with this stuff already.

Fans supported this project, they funded it, they're the reason it's happening. If this is how the people making it are going to PRESENT it, people have to make their judgement based on how it is presented. Have you seen it in person to be able to claim it's merely a perspective issue?

Most comments haven't even been that critical. Just pointing out that they think it looks a little odd. Guess nobody is allowed to do anything but rain praise down if they don't want to be dismissed as "whiney."

The hyper defensiveness around here is getting as grating as anything else.

  11. I hate to agree, but the proportions and that specific type of Blue looks off and upsetting.... upsetting because I freaking backed this thing x_X, they better make it PERFECT X_X!

  12. Once again, stop freaking out. These photos are not from truforce. Go to their Facebook page and see. These are from a foreign Facebook page. It is likely a knockoff.

  13. looks like a funky D ARTS.

  14. It's the posing more than the proportions that is off in these pictures. I'd like to see it properly posed, actually looking natural. It would probably look great.

  15. I think it looks cool. A nice change from the usual.

Though it looks like he could eat a few more donuts and be okay.

  16. I never noticed the Maverick Hunter symbol on his chest before. Cool!

  17. Except for the proportions (specially the head, needs some work), it looks awesome! Wish I could afford one... ;_;

  18. Looks super rad to me. I missed out on the Kickstarter, but I definitely intend to buy one as soon as I'm able.

  19. Looks like they missed a spot.... the strip of helmet on top, connecting to the red gemstone, is the same blue as the rest of his helmet. I'm pretty sure that's supposed to be the same light blue as his torso instead...
