Mega Man: The Board Game Now Available For Preorder
If your wallets still haven't given up with all the Mega Man merchandise coming out, you can now preorder Mega Man: The Board Game from Jasco Games. It's currently running for $79.99 in the U.S. and $94.99 in Canada and Mexico. The whole kit and kaboodle is estimated to ship later this October.
Expensive? Yes. Justified? Well, given the quality and material of the figures and assets ... I'd say so, yeah. Mind you, this is a hobby board game. $50-$100 is pretty much standard for this sort. I do see where there may be some skepticism, though; this is, after all, Jasco's first board game.
All in all, the choice is yours.

*Wait for a chinese version knockoff*ReplyDelete
Nah..looking at the gameplay itself is too complicated.Oh well probably someone can enjoy this. Not for me though, the so many rule and way of play remind of the old role play board board game.
Of course it's worth it! Not saying I can get it right now, but definitely worth it.ReplyDelete
Sold, those are great figures! Are they going to include Gutsman and Cutman?ReplyDelete
They should, seeing as they were unlocked during the kickstarter.Delete
What a bored board game. No thanks. New Megaman games anyone ?ReplyDelete
How about if you stop complaining about it. Enjoy what we get.Delete
you mean like how wii fans acted when operation rainfall happened and they told them to shut up and accept whatever nintendo throw at them? if we saw something the majority didn't like, the company should listen to them to see what they want.Delete
Yyyyeah.... I'm not really keen on spending $100 for a board game, even if it is MegaMan.ReplyDelete
I'd spend $100 for a super special edition for a brand new MegaMan game if Capcom ever got off their lazy asses and made one.
Ya nope. That $80 doesn't include the Timeman/Oilman expansion nor Protoman piece(which was confirmed to be sold seperately during the kickstarter). So no, not worth the $80. Going to be waiting for a price drop on this because I can't justify that much.ReplyDelete
No thanks. I don't doubt that the board game must be good and quality made, but that's not going to justify purchasing something of that cost... especially seeing as I'm in Canada.ReplyDelete
I would've liked to back the kickstarter back then when it passed much of the stretch goals, but I don't live in any of the regions eligible for shipping, so they don't get any money from me and I shouldn't care about it anymore either. WhateverReplyDelete
Do the miniatures come pre-painted like in the above photograph, or would we just get them completely gray, like in previous photos? (And like in classic games such as HeroQuest)ReplyDelete
