  1. Speaking of Might No 9.... Protodude have you been following the kickstart? Because people are pulling OUT. IT's dropped to just over 3.8 million dollars now. Online Battle Race mode is technically no longer funded as a result.

    1. Are you including what was earned with Paypal?

The Kickstarter itself didn't reach 4 million. It was the Kickstarter + Paypal that did it.

    2. The KS amount was always just 3.8M in the Ks counter page, the extra money that made them go over 4M is from the Paypal pledges.

    3. Somebody forgot about the paypal funds that was combined with the kickstarter funds it seems...

    4. Not true, the Paypal amount is not included in the Kickstarte fund total. It has always been 3.8 million dollars.

    5. You cannot "pull out" once the kickstarter ends. You get automatically charged

You have to include the money from paypal. It's always been just over 3.8 on Kickstarter money alone. Stop spreading lies.

I can't say as I blame them. There was so much fanfare and noise while the Kickstarter was going on, but after that? No real updates. No progress results. No screenshots. But hey! There's a nice staff photo! Oh, and I guess another Call contest or something...

Which is exactly why I don't have high hopes for 2015. Seems like No. 9 is turning into a cameo/product character before his game is even released. Makes you wonder where all that pledged money disappeared to, hm?

    1. An indie game is not done in a couple of months, have some patience man.

Beck actually showing in other games already should be a sign for optimism, not panic... Is not like this is another Final Fantasy XV, Last Guardian or Duke Nukem Forever keeping fans in the dark waiting for decades, give it some months before thinking No.9 is vaporware.

    2. Actually, that's not true. The Kickstarter total was always at 3.8 million. The figure doesn't include what fans put up towards Paypal, which made the 4 million.

    3. Your post is wrong on so many counts, starting with your incorrect understanding about the KS amount, as someone already explained. Also, the staff was very clear in saying they would be quiet for some weeks while they got the real work started. Games are in development MANY months before companies are ready to show screenshots that fairly represent the game they're trying to build.

Putting aside your wrong understanding of the situation, what's even worse is your own negativity and cynicism. One bit of information and you're already suspecting the team STOLE the fan's money. I don't know how some of the people here can stand themselves.

Actually, I was already thinking they took the money and ran long before this anon's post. :P

Anyway, if they can cobble together a "tech demo" in Unreal Engine 3, one would think they could manage to release some public screenshots of works in progress on character models or something. You know, something solid to reassure people like me that the game is, in fact, still being worked on. I don't think that's unreasonable, especially with how successful the bloody Kickstarter was.

  6. Oh damn...that doesn't look so right. I thought Mega Man X costume in Dead Rising 3 was a lot more worse than this?

  7. I mentioned about it somewhere else that I might not want to played it because of blood violent. Now, I am thinking twice.. I will judge it by playing it first before I decide not want it or want it. :)
