Mega Man 7 is Available Now on NA Wii U Virtual Console

Surprise! During today's Nintendo Treehouse live stream event, it was announced that Mega Man 7 has launched on the Wii U Virtual Console. Currently available to players in North America, the SNES classic is going for $7.99. This marks the first time the game has been re-released digitally anywhere. Better late than never, right?

Unfortunately, Mega Man 7 is not part of the current Smash Bros. sale on the eShop. You'll be needing to pick this one up at full price.

    1. The Virtual Console IS an emulator (that you have to pay for, and with a lot less functionality and options :/).

  2. Megaman 8 and Rockman & Forte, perhaps ? It would be nice to have an English translated for the first time! An SNES/SFC version is so much better than GBA version. :D

    1. Actually, I love Rockman 7 Japanese version since American version I hate because they removed Roll and Auto's comedy that was found only in Rockman 7 and some others, I think. I am stick with Japanese version and read the English script with fan translation, thats all.

  4. Cool. Has anyone finished it yet? Is the animated ending still there, or is this the watered-down version from the collection?
