Mega Man: Fully Charged Now Available on Tubi, YouTube

Over the last couple months, WildBrain has been steadily uploading full, free episodes of Mega Man: Fully Charged to its official YouTube channel, finally giving the show a home beyond Amazon’s digital storefront. Now, the series is even easier to watch: all 52 episodes are available to stream for free on Tubi in the United States.

As with the YouTube uploads, Tubi presents Fully Charged in its paired-episode format. That means the original 52 11-minute episodes are bundled into 26 half-hour slots, each running roughly 22 minutes.

Why the sudden push to make Fully Charged easier to watch after all these years? Your guess is as good as mine. But it may be one more small piece of Capcom’s broader effort to expand Mega Man’s reach and strengthen the brand as a core IP.

Callum’s work comes from the show’s early pre-production phase, when the team was experimenting with different art directions. Storyboards From Secret Level Mega Man Episode Show What Happens Next

Mega Man: Start, the Secret Level episode inspired by the classic series, runs just over five minutes, making it the shortest entry in the Prime Video anthology. Previous concept art and materials have already hinted that it was meant to be longer. Now, adding to that evidence, newly discovered material reveals a cut sequence set after the episode’s ending, showing Mega Man's struggle to protect the city from a rampaging Robot Master.

Ruby-Spears Mega Man Complete Series Blu-ray Available to Pre-Order (Updated)

Following its reveal last weekend, Discotek has opened pre-orders for the new Ruby-Spears Mega Man complete series Blu-ray set. Crunchyroll is the first retailer to offer pre-orders, with more outlets expected soon. This post will be updated as additional options become available. (UPDATE: Amazon preorders are live)

The set is scheduled to ship on October 28 for $49.95 ($39.96 via Crunchyroll). The single disc contains all 27 episodes in SD format along with a host of new features not included in the previous DVD release. Highlights include a high-resolution version of the original “anime” pitch, a new high-quality transfer of the first episode, galleries of rare art and production materials, promotional content, episode commentary by Mega Man himself, Ian James Corlett, and more.

Nobuyoshi Habara Talks About Creating the Ruby-Spears Mega Man Opening

With the first season of Ruby-Spears' Mega Man now available in Japan for the first time, Nobuyoshi Habara—who directed the show's opening sequence—shared some history on Twitter about its development. He discussed its connection to the canceled 1993 anime project (although he previously indicated 1992) and the journey to the iconic final product we all know and love.

Thirty years after debuting in the U.S, the indelible Ruby-Spears Mega Man cartoon has been released in Japan for the very first time. Rebranded as Rockman USA, all 13 episodes of the show's first season are now available for purchase on Amazon Japan, Video Market, Fuji TV, and other streaming platforms. The second season will probably follow in no time at all.

Although a single episode was previously included in a 2003 promotional DVD set for corporate investors, this marks the first time the entire series has been officially accessible in Japan. Capcom is marketing it as “A Rockman that no one knows about!” The release includes Japanese subtitles, though character names remain consistent with the U.S. version.

While this news might not be particularly groundbreaking for longtime English-speaking fans (although I've got some news for you about the show to share in 2025 that I think you'll like), it’s a pleasant surprise for our friends overseas. No doubt, they'll be joining us in the affectionate ribbing we’ve all come to enjoy about the show.

Mega Man's Secret Level Episode is Now Available on Prime Video

The next batch of Secret Level episodes has arrived, including the much-awaited Mega Man entry, Mega Man: Start. This standalone episode reimagines the Blue Bomber's classic series origin—familiar yet sprinkled with some twists to make it its own. 

At eight minutes, Start is the shortest episode in the animated anthology series (closer to five minutes minus the intro/credits). As expected, it ends just as things are about to kick off, leaving room for hope that, if Secret Level gets a second season, it could see a follow-up. In fact, Tim Miller, the show's executive producer, recently mentioned that if any episode were to get a continuation, it would be Mega Man.

Another Look at Mega Man in Amazon's Secret Level Animated Series

Promotion for Amazon Prime Video’s animated anthology series Secret Level is ramping up. A new poster featuring the show's main cast from various video game franchises has been revealed online. Chief among them is Mega Man, giving us our first and possibly best look at the show's interpretation of the Blue Bomber yet. While primarily inspired by the classic series, the design incorporates elements from the X series, Legends, and possibly even Star Force (the visor?).

We'll be learning more about the Mega Man episode of Secret Level in the coming days and weeks. Expect a new trailer, some clips, and announcements about the voice cast as early as this weekend.

Secret Level premieres on December 10th, exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.

A Closer Look at the Lost Film "Do Your Best, Rockman: Earthquake Safety and Fire Safety"

Do Your Best, Rockman: Earthquake Safety and Fire Safety is the crown jewel of "lost" Mega Man animation. Produced by Sankyo Educational Film Company, the short film was briefly screened in Japan in the early 1990s and has never been seen again or released on home video. Until recently, it was considered a myth—a shared memory among only a few fans in Japan who recall watching it at school as children. The discovery of an activity book related to the film a few years ago finally confirmed its existence, though we still have very little other information about it.

However, I'm excited to share that we're one step closer to uncovering more about this elusive flick. Twitter user turtlejump2 reached out to share images of every page from a copy he found in storage. Thanks to this, we now have our best look at the film yet.

Mega Man: Upon A Star Hits iTunes

The North American anime distributor Anime Network, are offering all three episodes of the Mega Man: Upon A Star OVA on Apple's iTunes store.  Episodes cost a $1.99 each, and the first episode comes with Mega Man wallpapers and themes.

"A power-mad genius and his gang of evil robots are trying to take over the world, and no one can stop them but Megaman. He’s a young action hero with nerves of steel, a robot body,the power to mimic any weapon he sees and use it for the forces of good. Together with his robot sister Roll, and their faithful cyber-pooch Rush, Megaman jets into battle with fists and plasma-bolts flying."

The app. is compatible with both the iPhone and iPod Touch.  Wi-Fi connection is required for "additional content."
