The Mega Man Fortnite collaboration is expected to begin this week, potentially as soon as tomorrow according to early leaks. And with the crossover seemingly right around the corner, several official Fortnite channels have started teasing even more Mega Man skins.
As seen in the teaser above, X and Zero are joining the fray too!
We should have more details on the collaboration, including an official start date, very soon.
I'm not too surprised that we're getting X and Zero instead of proto Man and Bass. The latter aren't well known for their various designs unlike the former. And kids these days are probably too young to remember Bass.

DeleteI never played Fortnite, but it looks lame to me and not sure why anyone would get excited about it. Fortnite is not Megaman but just alpha gen stuff Minecraft style, I think. I thought the Fortnite fad was over years ago, like the Pokemon Go fad we had in 2018 (though some still do play it). In any case, not sure why anyone cares about X and Zero in that. I care about a new X game; not cheap meaningless distractions like this. This seems more meaningless than even X Dive. X and Zero in X9 is where it's at and for those with standards.
DeleteI also see some comments on Megaman reddit claiming X is back or saying 'we are so back'. I just say out loud 'no, it is not'. X being in Fortnite or X CM getting a re-release does not mean X is back or X9. I will believe it when I see it vs getting overly excited and giddy like someone who is naive who hypes too much (acting as if they were born yesterday).
