Fortnite's Mega Man collaboration is heavily suggested to begin as soon as tomorrow, or within the next couple of days. Ahead of the festivities, several of the event's skins, items and cosmetics have been decrypted, offering our best look yet at what's in store.
The X skin will be one of the rewards up for grabs in Fortnite's Mega Man Cup tomorrow, September 8, according to early decrypted information. It also includes a Pickaxe based on Spinning Blade from Mega Man X3.
Currently, it remains to be seen if X will be tied to the Cup, or if players have the option to purchase it from the store. We should know more pretty soon.

This all looks amazing to me, but as a guy that doesn't really Fortnite, will we need to partake in a battle pass or something? These are a lot of skins and characters, so I figure they have some kind of catch to them compared to just getting equipped with wallet and buying the V-Bucks like I did with the Dr. Eggman skin and items earlier last month.
