  1. We knew this was coming but, it looks nice. I hope zero follows suit soon as that was colored as well. Maybe after they fix the minor issues with it perhaps?

    1. They made a Super Adaptor for 66 Action. But it’s very small.

    2. I think there is also Sentinel 10 inch, but again small.

  3. Okay, that fire fist is actually pretty cool. Too bad it’s just the one, no left-facing Rising Fire from the right hand?

  4. Koto already did it and better effect parts. 😅

  5. I don't care much about recolors, but I could go for Shotgun Ice or Sonic Slicer. X with "Capcom colors". With that said, I did get Force Armor Rising Fire because of the Plasma Shot.

    1. I bought it just for the black arm parts... Which should have been a standard option and is one of the things Kotobukiya does I really dislike. 😡 Buy this one kit to get the alternate parts. But your still one part in the hole and your two kits still wont jive... Buy a THIRD one and you now have an extra model for what amounts to $5 worth of plastic.

    2. I don't like it either. It might work out fine for them, but not for the consumer. Having to buy 2 Second Armor kits just to have Zero's X2 Buster on 1 and the Double Charge Shot and Shoryuken on the other. Besides, you also need Zero to use the X2 Buster you got.

    3. The Zero situation is irritating. and that's from a fan of the kits.
I have one red, one nightmare, and two black Zero's (One for Black Zero and one for Copy Zero I customized). So now I have 4 Zeros, with only 3 that have the new hair piece. Nightmare Zero will always have the crap-tastic hair that doesn't match the others. The new X1 Zero has crap-tastic hair (fortunately I have a spare new hair to fix that).
All of which could be solved by including the new hair in all three colors JUST ONCE. Which can be solved with an add-on kit. Koto really needs to start doing those.

My X2 buster is just sitting in a box because I had to cancel my pre-order for another red Zero. Which if that ever came in, I'd be down two hair pieces...

    4. @shrap Is the "crap-tastic" hair the hollow one, or a different crappy one?

    5. The hollow one(s)
With the addition that Nightmare Zero only has the sideways swosh hollow hair, and not the normal display OR the solid piece.

    6. I also got a Black Zero kit to do custom fake Zero lol the only one I'm missing is type 2 Red Zero, as I'm not a fan of that blue Z-Saber of his. Maybe I'll grab the one from Hiya to stand in his place (assuming he'll have a green Z-Saber).

    7. Didn't the X3 Armor come with a green saber? To be fair, the artwork always shows blue...
I guess one can be true to the pixel art, but by that standard X in the PSX is always the wrong color, being more green than blue...

    8. Also, if you have use for it, I made a X2 Buster for Black Zero you can 3D print, since Kotobukiya was so kind as to not provide one... Coming full circle.

    9. I have the Max Armor kit, it comes with a Saber that lights up in green, but it's clear blue by default. Thanks's for the file! I was just thinking of painting my X2 Z-Buster black. Too bad that fake Zero from Bandai D-Arts never came about, it would save me a lot of trouble lol

    10. Did they say they'd release a fake Zero? The difference between that one and the real one are the hair, eyes, and forehead stone color. Iunno - maybe they thought it's too similar to what they already released.

    11. Black Zero has a kinda muted yellow/gold/beige in place of all the yellow. Fake Zero has grey on top of the rest. Though if you look at the Bandai prototype, it's a mix of beige vents and grey stripes. Which is what I did with my custom.

    12. Oh, that's interesting. Thank you for the info, Shrap.
