Kotobukiya’s 1/12 scale Iris kit, first revealed in October, is now up for pre-order through Kotobukiya, Big Bad Toystore, and Hobby Link Japan, with additional retailers coming online soon. She’s slated to ship in May 2026.

The young Repliforce officer and sister of Colonel, Iris, finally joins the lineup as a plastic model kit!
Thanks to the technology of CAD engineering, the character’s proportions are faithfully recreated while maintaining an impressive range of articulation that allows users to recreate poses from the games!
With three interchangeable faces and a wide variety of hand parts, Iris can be displayed in many unforgettable scenes from the game.
Model Specifications:
・Includes three interchangeable face parts.
・Her voluminous hair consists of three articulated sections—base, middle, and ends—connected with swivel and ball joints for flexible movement to suit various expressions.
・The base and internal joints of the hair use an extendable ball-joint system for enhanced articulation.
・The hat is removable and a dedicated cover is included to display Iris without her hat.
・Includes five interchangeable hand parts.
・The skirt is made up of five separate sections, each independently movable to allow dynamic posing without hindering leg articulation.
・The kit is made of multi-colored plastic and contains pre-painted parts, making it easy for users of all levels to build Iris as she appears in the game.
・The packaging includes a specially drawn illustration by Mega Man X series character designer Keisuke Mizuno.

ReplyDeleteNice Iris - another - pose. Now we just have to wait for the Colonel kit to replicate it with the pink saber lol. Jokes and questionable pack ins aside, I'll definitely be preordering her.

ReplyDeleteAs kit say "X4 Version", I imagine they might be working on the Xtreme 2 version as well. However, I would kill for an Iris Another version
ReplyDeleteKoto could include her X2: Soul Eraser look together with X4, as they did something similar with Roll.
DeleteIris another would have to be it's own kit and I would also love to have her.
There are significant differences between the two designs. I'd rather a separate release as I would have to build two anyway... A build your own version approach means I a mountain of useless extra parts. Iris' entire main body would just go in a bin. Twice.

ReplyDeleteI know she’s an entirely new and involved sculpt, but the accessories feel a little lacking. Especially the faces. Only one remotely not-happy face? This is X4 Iris! The only time she was happy is the dubiously canon intro video!
ReplyDeleteYou just gave me an idea: I think I'm gonna model up an Iris Another and Colonol Saber accessory. One that's compatible with the existing Z-Saber blades (while not quite right Black Zero would work) or 3D print a red one. It would be super easy, though might be thin if you want an LED in it (which I don't use...)
Delete@Jark Spore That's untrue. The only other time Iris was happy, albeit briefly, was when she smiled for a small second looking at Zero as he held her hand at the moment she expired.
DeleteI sill have a little work to do to make it printable and flesh out the detail just a little bit more, but I have the design more or less done for Iris's Dress Saber. DeleteIf you wonder where the saber holding hand was from, I got it off of Cults3d. Velvetttolbox included some alternate hand parts in this collection, and the weapon holding hand with no thumbs up was worth it.

But another accessory Iris really needs is Colonel's core, or whatever it is.
The Dress Saber is done. I want to make Colonel's saber at some point when I have more energy.
