Next up is a simple Kobun t-shirt, a tote bag sized to fit A4 books, a mesh pouch for your small essentials, and a set of Kobun bang clips to keep your hair neat and stylish. These items are also scheduled to launch on June 3rd.
For now, they’re exclusive to Capcom Store, Capsule Lab, and Online Parco. That said, there’s always a chance they could pop up at import retailers or third-party marketplaces down the line—something we’ll definitely be keeping an eye on.
As mentioned earlier, these aren’t just any Kobun items—they’re specifically from or tied to Tron Ni Kobun. Rockman Unity makes a point to highlight this. It marks the first time since the game’s original release that new Tron Ni Kobun merchandise has been produced, rather than lumping it under the broader Rockman DASH label.

ReplyDeleteThey should make keychains of all 41. Imagine them all on the same ring!
ReplyDeleteThese are cute! I'd wish that this was here In the U.S too.
ReplyDeleteSurprise me with a megaman legends 3 reveal.
ReplyDeleteIs Capcom hinting at a Mega Man Legends Legacy Collection in the future?
ReplyDeleteNah, they merchandise the hell out of stuff. Doesn't mean anything significant, at this point.
DeleteThey add Volnutt as a playable character in SF6, but he’s still stuck on the moon so he can’t fight and loses every match by default.
DeleteSee, this is how I know Capcom isn’t *fully* pessimistic about Mega Man, or else they would’ve hired smartasses like myself to come up with horrible cameos to piss off fans like I just described.
@Jark Instead, they just add Bad Box Art Mega Man to stuff because it's low-hanging fruit. :V
DeleteIt's still really weird to me how the Servbots have gotten so many cameos and merchandise despite being from one of the worst supported Mega Man sub-series.
ReplyDeleteIt's weird that Legends gets such a considerable amount of merch for a Mega Man sub-series that Capcom tries to avoid re-releasing as much as they possibly can. Don't get me wrong, I like that there's Legends merch out there that isn't decades-old and impossible to find, but it's just a weird dissonance between how much they like to merchandise Legends vs. how little they do to make the games legally available.
ReplyDeleteI think it’s mainly just the Kobun/Servbots. Japan loves their cute mascots. Though, they’re sitting on a good half-dozen phone games staring the Kobun. And official, worldwide rereleases of obscure Japanese phone games is starting to become an actual market, at least on Steam.
