Rockman X 25th Anniversary Ensemble Album Track List Announced

GMSTORE announced today the results of the poll they conducted for the creation of a Rockman X 25th Anniversary Ensemble Album. People that purchased the Rockman X1 and Rockman X2 Band/Piano albums had the chance to vote for their favorite songs from Rockman X1 to Rockman X8, Rockman X Command Mission and Irregular Hunter X.

Here they are:

As of right know we don't know how this album will be arranged. We approached them for clarification and this is what they told us:

There are many combination patterns for "Ensemble" so we'll select the best instruments for each music.

Head over to GMSTORE if you want to purchase or listen to samples from the X1 and X2 Band & Piano albums. You can also purchase the sheet music if you intend on playing the music by yourself!

  2. There's so many other tracks who deserve attention. But it's a shame that rare song like Blaze Heatnix / Rainly Turtloid / Blizzard Wolfgang or another X4 tracks are not in this list for change. I love every soundtrack of the serie but once again I only seeing the most popular song. There's already have so many versions of Opening stage X, X vs Zero or X-hunter...

    1. Well it was choosen from a poll, so of course the most popular get picked. I personally never get tired of X vs Zero.
Though i do think a few tracks would have deserved a pick.

    2. Yeah, it was predictable for this selection. It's the same, I never get tired of each tracks. I have all the album and arrangement release so for me it's a bit disappointed, but Rockman X music is what she is, awesome. In addition, I'm surprised to not found Storm Eagle or Spark Mandrill for one time lol.

    3. True. i would have expected Storm eagle. And i was certain we where going to have boomer kuwanger rather than launch octopus.

  4. I don't understand how the Opening Theme (Rockman X5) is there when the superior Mega Man X5 Opening Theme was also an option.

  5. I'm not surprised X1 Opening Stage and X vs. Zero got selected as they are two of the most popular tracks from the series. I'm a little surprised at the top two choices though. I had no idea X-Hunter Stage 1 and Infinity Mijinion's stage music were that beloved.

    2. Well I guess X-Hunter Stage 1 being popular is something I can believe. It was used again in Mega Man Xtreme 2 for the final stage despite the X-Hunters themselves didn't appear in it and people love 8-bit takes on tracks from other systems (though 8-bit is getting very overused and worn out at this point). As for Mijinion's track, it does have one nice touch in the English version where the song's intro fits perfectly with the Ready announcement just as the stage starts.
