Mega Man X - 1/4 Scale Zero Statue by PCS Announced

The first of many brand-new, officially licensed Mega Man X statues from Premium Collectibles Studio has been partially revealed... Zero! But this isn't your typical Zero statue, no.

While not outright confirmed, the artwork used to announce the statue heavily implies it's based on Zero's birth. The "under construction" visage of the crimson Maverick Hunter -- first depicted in Mega Man X4 and again in Mega Man X5 -- is a fan-favorite. The scene hasn't been realized in any form prior but, with PCS at the helm, you can expect a highly-detailed statue worthy of one's collection.

There are currently no details about price or release date, but I'm assuming we'll know more in a matter of days. Do note, however, that PCS products don't come cheap. You'll probably need to save up a good $300 or more.

In the meantime, you can "RSVP" to be notified when the statue becomes available via Sideshow.

  3. while i kinda hope we delve a bit from using x and zero(understand why though but still think their's enough appeal with the other characters/series.)but i find it really awesome we're getting a figurine of zero's creation pod from his x4 introduction.(always loved that cutscene for starting to show more of dr. wily's intended purpose with zero,be a neat detail if the w restraint on his helmet gem was added.:3)

  4. I know that we aren't supposed to leave negative comments but the only Mega Man news out there nowadays are promotions for new merchandise (figures, pins, etc.). If Capcom wants us to stay interested in the franchise they have to actually produce a game now and again instead of riding on the hype of a series they in practice forgot about. The last full X game was in 2004 and the last classic series game is slowly getting older. I have a fair share of Mega Man knick-knacks but only because they remind me of the games I enjoyed playing so much.
