Rockman Poker and More Mobile Games Preserved

We have another round of successfully preserved, previously Japan-only Rockman mobile games for you to play. This time, the lineup includes Rockman Poker, a 2005 mobile port of Rockman 3, and a trial version of Rockman X2.

Rockman Poker was uncovered after Penguinstrain went back through GoodTofuFriday’s dump of Midori’s phone, the very same device that provided us with Rockman DASH: Adventure on the 5 Islands. Rockman Poker was overlooked during the original extraction because the scripts being used at the time were still being refined and weren’t catching everything stored on the device.

Also recovered is the 2005 mobile port of Rockman 3, along with a trial version of Rockman X2. The latter is not the full game and only includes the opening stage, but it’s another piece of Capcom’s old Japanese mobile catalog that’s now accessible again.

All three games are playable through the Keitai World Launcher emulator.

Big thanks to RockmanCosmo for the heads up!

  1. There's something so delightful about the megaman artwork of this time, late 90's to mid 2000s... The simplicity of shapes and strokes, the bright colors and authentic/creative artstyles across all of the franchises and even the music. This one in particular of mega and bass playing cards just made me remember the good memories i have with Megaman&Bass. So nostalgic...

  2. Amazing! I really hope to a full version of Rockman X2 one of these days. The bonus Fake Zero fight seems pretty neat, and I'd like to try it out.

  3. What is the difference of this Rockman 3 to the original Megaman 3 for java?

  4. Unexpected great news. I didn't expect the phone to have even more games on it.
