Mega Man ZX, Mega Man Legends Timelines Locked in for January 7

After a few delays, Udon Entertainment confirms that Mega Man ZX Timelines and Mega Man Legends Timelines are finally set to launch on Wednesday, January 7th, both in-store and online.

Via the Udon crew:

Hey gang, We've got final dates for upcoming Mega Man comics, all off to the printer now:

Mega Man ZX Timelines #1 - Jan 7, 2026
Mega Man Legends Timelines #1 - Jan 7, 2026
Mega Man X #0 - Jan 14, 2026

Thanks all for bearing with us as we navigate working with a new comic license. (which for the Timelines series, kinda meant working with 5 new licenses!). One thing I can tell you is, Capcom is watching very closely to help us get all the character details on-model... right down to the literal bottoms of their feet.
If anything should change (it shouldn't), we'll let you know!

  1. Lock it in *yay* 🤓

I'll believe it when I have books on hand.

  2. Does this mean that the X series is going to get delayed, too? I really hope not. Delays kill books and I really want the X series to be a slam dunk.

    1. I would bank on it. Of all the books I currently collect, Udon is by far the absolute worst distributor. Dark Horse is #2 vying for 1st. Their just on permanent hiatus versus every comic I am interested from Udon facing multiple delays, including the manga that has been delayed for months and they still have not addressed. I have no faith in Udon at all, and how they stay in business is a minor miracle.

    2. Udon stays in business because they have an iron grip on merch/media for several Capcom licenses in the west (or at least in the US/Canada), which tend to have very dedicated fanbases that are willing to wait despite their bullshit. If I want Mega Man comics (which I do), I simply don't have an alternative than to wait. I own the Japanese editions (and, in some cases, Chinese editions) of many MM series that were never translated into English officially, but that only gets me so far. I'm pretty sure they're using the same distributor as DC these days for these single issues, so there really isn't an excuse at this point aside from themselves. I try to be positive and know that publishing is full of nonsense from all angles, but after a certain point there are no excuses left, even from the most generous of fans.

For my part, I've always had issues with Dynamite, but Udon is certainly giving them a run for their money.

    3. On the bright side, Mr. Mega Man Vol 2 finally shipped! There's still hope the entire Mr. MM and Little MM manga will be released in English.

    4. I'll take your word for it. I'll believe it when they arrive. I have yet to be notified of shipment (which at this stage I would not be shocked if they either never ship or just show up)

    1. Well it’s actually Vent, who is in fact a kid.

He shouldn’t look that goofy though.
