November has barely begun, and we're already kicking things off with the reveal of Mega Man: Dual Override's fourth Robot Master: Cook Man! He made his debut at the 2026 Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show.
The trailer above gives us a look at Proto Man going toe-to-toe with the culinary combatant. He's something of a kung-fu cut man, if you will. We also get to hear a new piece of music that has a noticeably different sound from much of what we've heard of Dual Override's soundtrack so far.
Here's Cook Man's official bio:
"A wandering chef seeking recognition for his culinary prowess, Cook Man prepares to slice and dice our heroes with his Kung Fu Cooking style in Mega Man: Dual Override. Can you take the heat, or will you get out of his kitchen?"
Who knows what Robot Master we'll see next!
Somehow I'm guessing this one is either strong or weak to Tank Man
ReplyDeleteThis guy rocks! Love the hair whip and his varied animations taking advantage of the new art style.
ReplyDeleteRamen Man
ReplyDeleteTundra & Torches secret love child
ReplyDeleteIn all seriousness I kinda expected this direction a little.
ReplyDeleteI like his design more than Blade Man.
ReplyDeleteCool design, but preparing food with your hair can’t be sanitary.
ReplyDeleteThat's a neat direction to go with the way he uses the hair blade.
ReplyDeleteHuh, that name kind of reminds me of the name Cook Man from Mega Man Battle Network 2.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't expecting him to be much handsomer than his net navi counterpart, no heterophobia.
ReplyDeleteQuite the unusual direction to go in, but a welcome one nonetheless! Although I feel like a name like Cutlery Man could fit better.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is so he could be named after a net navi. I wish it was the other way around, like give a net navi counterpart to a well beloved robot master, the only robot master in his game that doesn't already have a net navi counterpart, his name begins with a c, Centaur Man. *Ba dum tss*
DeleteI can't say whether it's intentional or not, but it looks like there's yet another Unlimited (2, in this case) similarity to add to the list, since Cook Man is thematically close to Wushu Man. Regardless, I do still think Cook Man is an interesting concept.
ReplyDeleteEither Cut Man or Shadow Man will appeared as one of the Revival Robot Mastets. Also, Cook Man looks so cool that he looks very similar to SlashMan.exe. but what's funny I just found that there's already an CookMan.exe.
