UPDATE: Udon has confirmed in a press release that Mega Man Timelines #1 will be released on June 25th. Matt Moylan also informed me that the remaining Timelines books — X, Zero, ZX, and Legends — will likely be pushed back by about a month from their original release dates.
Udon's Matt Moylan confirmed the news to me directly, explaining that the delay is due to the company’s transition from Diamond Comics to Lunar Distribution. While a new release date has not been officially announced, some databases—such as League of Comics—list a tentative date of July 9th.
That said, according to my local comic shop, pre-orders for Mega Man Timelines are still being accepted. So if you're hoping to snag a copy—especially one of the many variant covers—for your pull list or hold box, there's still time.
Matt said more information will be available soon, so stay tuned for further updates.
Udon is udoning again
ReplyDeleteScrew my stupid baka life this is so unfair (didn't even have it ordered i wouldn't have gotten it on time anyways lmao)
ReplyDeleteHAH.
ReplyDeleteThough really, the divulsion from Diamond is out-of-their-control and perfectly understandable.
There are NINE versions of this book? Good grief...
ReplyDeleteWell that sucks. Hopefully there's a new release date soon.
ReplyDeleteCorrect me if i am wrong, but it seems that Mr. Rockman Vol.2 also got delayed?
ReplyDeleteYeah. I got a notice from Books A Million they were delayed until August.
DeleteBTW, BAM is having a 20% manga online sale, even on pre-orders.
Coincidentally, I think we are in for a 2nd manga crash like we had with Tokyopop. There are an awful lot of manga sitting on shelves...
Not surprising. My local comic shop is having delays with other releases.
ReplyDeleteAt least it's just delayed and not cancelled or on "hiatus"
