The Mega Man & Rush Kiddie Car You Never Knew You Wanted

For the longest time we thought this Mega Man and Rush display was just that – a big 'ol display. A hunk of plastic. It turns out, though, there's more to it than meets the eye: its an interactive kiddie car.

This revelation comes to us via Popstore. The inside is hollowed out to allow two little drivers to steer and peddle. It talks and plays arranged classic series tunes. The eyes and the side of the helmet are little windows. The manufacturer date is unknown but the various Rockman Complete Works suggests it was produced somewhere around 1999 or shortly after.

We don't know how many of these things actually exist. One used to be at Plaza Capcom. Another, perhaps the very same, was recently found BEHEADED at a recycling center in Japan. That said, it's heartening to see one out in the open actually intact. If you could, would you rescue one?

  1. Some typos:
"...inside is hallowed out..." should be HOLLOWED.
"...the car was scene in person..." should be "SEEN IN-PERSON"
Also not sure about the usage of "This revaluation"; what is being revalued?

    3. "We?" Some of us do care about typos, mate.
Just, you know, not enough to mention them. Or, notice them. Wenk.

(Don't get me started on typos in my creative writing, though. Hoo, boy.)

    4. Alerting a publication (which I enjoy) to stupid auto-correct typos is actually the opposite of being a "hater"; it was done so that Protodude could maintain a coherent and respectable site; alerting him to those typos was specifically out of appreciation for his intentions and the integrity of this site.

If I didn't care: nothing would have been said; I would have let the nonsense be. Language usage matters; if you don't understand why: educate yourself. I'm so tired of the modern trend which labels all criticism as negative; criticism helps people and society grow and improve.

  4. Every Peter Piper Pizza (that hasn't been converted to a Chuck E. Cheese Pizza) needs one of these.

I only say that because the one I used to go to, back in the 2000s, had one or two random import games. (That's where I learned to love diagonal dancing with Pump It Up!)
