Another batch of Secret LevelMega Man concept art has been shared by Mauro Belfiore, who previously posted several pieces last year. The Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse artist explained that these illustrations were created during the episode’s early exploration phase, when the team was experimenting to define a visual style.
Among the new material are both “anime-style” and more “realistic” passes, along with explorations of a battle-damaged Mega Man, which was previously seen in storyboards for a deleted scene.
Although Capcom Japanpromptly confirmed a physical release for Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection, Capcom US and other English-language branches made no mention of it in their pre-order materials, which raised some concern. However, it looks like there's nothing to worry about after all.
Canadian retailers Video Game Plus and PnP Games have opened pre-orders for physical editions on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5, with both listings pointing to a March 27, 2026 release alongside the digital version. UPDATE: Amazon pre-orders are live! Switch here, PlayStation 5 here.
It’s possible Capcom US simply wasn’t ready to share those details yet, suggesting these are early retailer listings. More stores should begin offering pre-orders in the near future.
To commemorate the release date announcement of Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection, Capcom has uploaded the first episode of the Star Force anime to their YouTube channel. This marks the first time the English dub has been available digitally since it was pulled from Hulu in the mid-2010s.
The original Japanese version has also been made available on Capcom Japan's YouTube channel. There are no official English subtitles, so viewers will have to rely on auto-translate.
Capcom will upload additional episode every Wednesday at 1:00 AM PST for a limited time. You can keep tabs on that with the official playlist here.
Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection releases March 27th, 2026 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and PC. Pre-orders are now available.
Via Rockman Unity, here's a brief, but heartening message from the Mega Man development team to commemorate the series' 38th anniversary:
Today, December 17, the Mega Man series celebrates its 38th anniversary.
This milestone is thanks entirely to the passionate support of our fans who have stood by us for so many years. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude.
With the release of Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection and Mega Man: Dual Override, and as we look ahead to the series’ 40th anniversary in 2027, the entire development team will continue to give it our all.
We sincerely ask for your continued support of the Mega Man series.
— The Mega Man Series Development Team
Happy anniversary, Mega Man! We send our best wishes to the development team for what’s ahead.
You didn't forget about Star Force Legacy Collection, did you? Taking a brief pause from the Mega Man: Dual Override hype, Capcom has announced Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection will launch on March 27th, 2026. A physical version has been confirmed for Japan, but there's currently no news about the U.S or other regions.
You can watch the announcement trailer above (featuring our first look at English voice acting) and the official press release below!
Mega Man 11 received a small update the other day that added support for Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, improving accessibility for a broader audience. That alone is good news, but the update also included an interesting detail that's easy to miss.
There’s little doubt that voice work on Mega Man: Dual Override is already underway. Dr. Light, voiced by Doug Stone, can be briefly heard in the live version of the reveal trailer. Now, it appears we may have both further confirmation of ongoing voice production and an early hint at a returning fan-favorite character, thanks to an unexpected source.
For the first time in decades, Capcom has announced a new Robot Master design contest for the brand-new, 12th entry in the classic series: Mega Man Dual Override.
Taking a page from Mega Man 8’s history, the challenge this time is to design a Robot Master with a clear prompt: a robot who wields a giant suction arm on the right side. Capcom has provided a base model, and fans are encouraged to build their own ideas on top of it..
A surprise announcement from The Game Awards tonight: Mega Man Dual Override, a brand-new entry in the classic series, due to hit all major consoles in 2027.
With a week left to pre-order the Deluxe Edition of Mega Man Adventures Volume 1, Udon Entertainment and Zoop have slipped us a small preview of Volume 2, featuring Proto Man front and center.
Like the first book, Volume 2 will receive a Deluxe Edition packed with extras, sold exclusively through Zoop around May 2026, once Volume 1 begins shipping. A standard edition, more widely available online and in stores, is also on the way.
For the uninitiated, Mega Man Adventures is a line of hardcover collections for Archie’s Mega Man comics. Each volume includes new short bonus stories that reunite writer Ian Flynn and artist Ryan Jampole.
You can pre-order the Volume 1 Deluxe Edition through Zoop, and the standard edition through Amazon or your preferred bookseller. More updates on Volume 2 (and beyond) are coming soon.
Hey gang, We've got final dates for upcoming Mega Man comics, all off to the printer now:
Mega Man ZX Timelines #1 - Jan 7, 2026
Mega Man Legends Timelines #1 - Jan 7, 2026
Mega Man X #0 - Jan 14, 2026
Thanks all for bearing with us as we navigate working with a new comic license. (which for the Timelines series, kinda meant working with 5 new licenses!). One thing I can tell you is, Capcom is watching very closely to help us get all the character details on-model... right down to the literal bottoms of their feet.
If anything should change (it shouldn't), we'll let you know!
Capcom has released its 2025 Integrated Report, and tucked inside COO Haruhiro Tsujimoto’s section is a passage that gives fans of the company's under utilized IPs something to pay attention to.
While outlining Capcom’s long-term development goals, Tsujimoto directly names Mega Man, alongside Ace Attorney and Devil May Cry,as a brand the company intends to grow through new in-house projects.
Banpresto is following up the metallic classic Mega Man with another Grandista release: MegaMan.EXE. Stock photos have begun circulating through overseas distributors and retailers, though details like pricing and a release window haven’t surfaced just yet.
From what we can see, the figure stands at about 24 cm (roughly 9.44 inches), making it a little taller than the classic Mega Man Grandista, which comes in at around 8.7 inches.
Callum’s work comes from the show’s early pre-production phase, when the team was experimenting with different art directions. These concepts span lighter, more playful interpretations before giving way to the grounded, realistic style Blur Studio ultimately chose for the finished short. Check 'em out below!
ThreeZero has rolled out a fresh look at their next entry in the MDLX Mega Man series: MDLX Cut Man. Sporting his iconic, oversized scissor blades, he looks to be shaping up to be a worthy addition to the growing line.
Cut Man stands about 4.8 inches (12.1 cm) to the top of the scissors, with 34 points of articulation and a sturdy internal frame made from metal and engineering plastics. The figure includes two face parts, two sets of eyes, fixed and detachable Rolling Cutters, Rolling Cutter effect parts, and three sets of hands (open, fists, and throwing-pose). His feet also have built-in magnets for attaching to metal surfaces.
Pre-orders open December 3rd, 2025 at 9am HKT through the ThreeZero Store and their usual distribution partners. UPDATE: Pre-orders open at Big Bad Toystore.
Kotobukiya’s 1/12 scale Iris kit, first revealed in October, is now up for pre-order through Kotobukiya, Big Bad Toystore, and Hobby Link Japan, with additional retailers coming online soon. She’s slated to ship in May 2026.
Good Smile has unveiled a new Mega Man figure for their Pop Up Parade line, posed after the classic Mega Man 1 title screen. The little guy stands at 100mm (about 3.94 inches), comes with a display stand, and if you order directly from Good Smile, you’ll also get an exclusive Mega Buster arm part.
It’s priced at $33.99 and scheduled to ship sometime between September and December 2026. Pre-orders are open now through December 23rd.
Mega Man X6 may not be everyone’s first pick, but it definitely has a committed fanbase, and plenty of people have tried to polish it over the years through patches and mods. Still, we really haven’t seen anything quite like this.
Enter Mega Man X: Viral Nightmare. Developed by Cat Yard Games, it’s a full-on remake of X6 built in GameMaker Studio 2. Development only really ramped up in August, but the project is already making strong progress toward not just refining X6, but reimagining it.
As explained in the latest overview video, the armor system has been rebuilt from the ground up with mix-and-match loadouts, new armor abilities, purchasable Parts using Nightmare Souls (including brand-new ones), an updated Hunter Rank system, and even fresh story beats. Even if you’re not an X6 fan, there’s a lot of neat potential here.
For more info, progress updates, or just a place to chat about the project, check out Cat Yard Games’ official Discord.

Also, here are a couple of preview pages from the all-new bonus short story by Ian Flynn and Ryan Jampole. There’s no dialogue on these yet, but Jampole’s handiwork makes it pretty clear what's going down...
On the heels of last week’s solicitation and cover reveals, Udon Entertainment has opened pre-orders for Mega Man X #0, the first issue in their new ongoing Mega Man X comic series. They've also launched pre-orders for covers A through D, along with an Udon Store-exclusive variant illustrated by Atomic Marshmellow, spotlighting Iris and Alia (depicted in her fan-favorite Mega Man X8 design). Fashion and lifestyle brand Kith has partnered with Capcom, Hasbro and Jada Toys to release a line of collaboration figures featuring Mega Man, Ryu, Captain America, and Wolverine. The figures will go on sale Friday, November 14th at 11AM EST directly from Kith (online and in-store).
The Mega Man figure is a recolor of Jada’s Wave 1 release, featuring a new color palette and the Kith logo emblazoned on his chest. All of the original accessories are included, though the Buster Shot piece appears to have a slightly different hue. The packaging also sports Kith’s signature branding.
For diehard collectors, this might be one to watch for, as Kith collaborations like this tend to sell out very quickly. Once they are gone, they are gone for good.
ThreeZero has published a small helping of images of their upcoming 4-inche MDLX Proto Man figure, which is now confirmed to arrive in Q2 2026. Pre-orders will begin on November 11th at 9am CST from ThreeZero's worldwide distribution partners (Big Bad Toystore, Entertainment Earth, and so on).
Proto Man includes a swappable Proto Buster forearm that can attach to either arm, along with a Proto Shield, a Charged Shot effect, two interchangeable scarves, a connector piece for the shield, a handle for holding it, and three sets of interchangeable hands. Each foot also features a built-in magnet, allowing the Proto Man to securely attach to metal surfaces!
Threezero's Mega Man line continues with another Special Weapon variant. This time, we get what may be Mega Man's most iconic weapon of his illustrious career: the Metal Blade from Mega Man 2! Will this one surpass the previous releases and live up to its legendary status?
While Capcom has yet to make an official announcement, growing evidence suggests that Capcom Taiwan’s internal game development division, the team behind Mega Man X DiVE, is being dissolved.
Several former Capcom Taiwan employees have taken to Threads in recent days to announce their departures from the studio. One longtime staff member wrote that after “nearly eleven years” with the company, many of their old colleagues “also graduated [left] last weekend.” Others thanked Capcom Taiwan for the experience and the opportunity to work on games they loved since childhood. Some of these posts included farewell gatherings and images showing the development office cleared out.
Wendee Lee, the English voice of Sonia Sky in the Mega Man Star Force anime, recently teased at a convention that she’s recorded something new for the series. While she couldn’t share too many details, her comments could suggest a return in Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection:
“There’s something in the works that I’m working on with Mega Man Star Force, but I don’t know if anything’s been announced. It’s not out yet, right?” she asked the audience.
“I don’t believe anything’s been announced,” someone replied.
“Right. So I gotta leave you a big ol’ okie doke,” Lee said. “I have to be very careful not to break my NDA, but ahem—it's musical. I’ll leave it at that.”
Considering Capcom’s plans to rearrange every track from all three Star Force games, Lee may have been tapped to finally record Sonia’s in-game songs, which were previously presented only as text. There’s also the chance she’ll restore Sonia's voice clips cut from the English version of Star Force 2, such as the title and congratulations screens present in the Japanese version.
Whatever the case, it’s encouraging to see Capcom once again reconnecting with veteran Mega Man voice actors after so many years. Hopefully, more of the original cast will return too.
Shibuya Tsutaya, a branch of the Tsutaya bookstore chain, will host a limited-time pop-up shop for a new Rockman EXE merchandise line inspired by sumi-e (Japanese ink-wash painting) from December 2nd through January 29, 2026.
The lineup includes postcards, metal stickers, acrylic stands, badges, and T-shirts, among other items. Unfortunately, none of them feature new artwork.
In addition, other Rockman EXE goods using previously released key art will also be available. You can check them out here!
Following the release of the Metal Blade and Fire Storm variants from the Classic series, ThreeZero's Mega Man X line is now getting its first variant.
The Rising Fire variant is scheduled for release in Q1 2026, with preorders opening on Wednesday, November 5th, at the ThreeZero Store and select retailers outside Japan. The figure will be priced at 6,760 yen ($44 or 38€).
You can see all the promotional images after the break!
In a discussion with Toy Migos, Juhn Lim from Jada Toys revealed that once Wave 5 reaches retail, the classic series Mega Man toyline will go on a pause while the team evaluates its future direction.
"Realistically, if we do continue [Mega Man] it will probably be saved for a San Diego [Comic-Con] reveal maybe. The direction we go doesn't necessarily have to go the way it's been going," said Juhn. "I feel like there are so many different options to go, roads to go down. I think trying to veer away from what we're doing and other options might be a fun way to take the line."
He continued, “I’m not really interested in revisiting iterations and versions that have already been developed. There are several companies doing, for example, Mega Man X. So realistically, I don’t have an interest in doing X. I can say that for sure.”
It’s a fair point. With Kotobukiya, ThreeZero, and Hiya Toys all tackling the X series, it makes sense for Jada to avoid an oversaturated corner of the market. There’s still a wealth of untapped Mega Man characters out there, so the line’s future could go in almost any direction. We may find out what's next sometime closer to SDCC 2026.
Mega Man: Start, the Secret Level episode inspired by the classic series, runs just over five minutes, making it the shortest entry in the Prime Video anthology. Previous concept art and materials have already hinted that it was meant to be longer. Now, adding to that evidence, newly discovered material reveals a cut sequence set after the episode’s ending, showing Mega Man's struggle to protect the city from a rampaging Robot Master.
At E3 2010, Nintendo unveiled the Nintendo 3DS, offering attendees their first chance to experience the handheld in action. The show floor featured a selection of interactive tech demos built to demonstrate the system’s glasses-free stereoscopic 3D capabilities. Among these was the Arika-developed Classic Games, a proof-of-concept auto-demo that reimagined several NES titles—Mega Man 2 included—with stereoscopic 3D display.
While only a few of the titles featured in Classic Games were eventually released as part of the 3D Classics line on the eShop, Mega Man 2 was not among them. However, thanks to the preservation work of the 3DS Challenge Team and video documentation by James-Money, the Mega Man 2 tech demo, alongside several other E3 2010 software, has been recovered and can now be launched on actual hardware. While Mega Man 2 is not playable, it offers a glimpse of what a 3D Classics version might have been.
You can find and download the files from the Internet Archive. To play these demos on a real 3DS, you’ll need an EmuNAND setup and a few other essential files to get things running smoothly. All of that is covered here!
Lunar Distribution has revealed our first detailed look at Udon Entertainment’s new on-goingMega Man X comic series, complete with four variant covers. They’ve also shared the official solicitation:

In this special prelude issue, the reploid hero known as X travels the highways of the future on his first solo mission, hunting a reploid who has gone rogue... a Maverick! Strap on your X-buster for more robotic action than ever! (W) Daniel Arseneault (A/CA) Jeffrey Cruz
The on-going series will be written by Daniel Arseneault with art by Jeffrey Cruz. Cover A is illustrated by Cruz, Cover B is Edwin Huang, Cover C is Hanzo Steinbach, and Cover D is Royce Southerland.
Mega Man X #0 is currently slated to arrive in-stores on January 14th, 2026.
Udon Entertainment has opened a sign-up page for a deluxe hardcover edition of Mega Man Adventures Volume 1: A Hero is Built, which will be distributed exclusively through Zoop. While Zoop typically serves as a crowdfunding platform for comic creators, Udon tells me they’re simply testing it out — both the deluxe and standard edition will be released regardless of the campaign’s results. The campaign goes live on November 18th.
To set itself apart from the standard edition, the deluxe hardcover will feature a foil cover, nine trading cards with character bios by Ian Flynn, and a folded poster. Like the standard edition, it includes Archie Comics' Mega Man issues #1–12 with all variant covers, plus an all-new 7-page short story by Ian Flynn and Ryan Jampole.
Hiya Toys has confirmed that the debut figure in their new Mega Man X line, the Exquisite Basic Series X, is set to release in Q4 2026. That’s still a ways off, but in the meantime they’ve shared several new images of the figure in action along with some intriguing details. Magnetic feet, anyone?
Amazon, Simon & Schuster, and Barnes & Noble have opened product pages for Mega Man Timelines Volume 1, which appears to collect all five Mega Man Timelines stories in a hardcover format. It’s currently scheduled to release on July 21, 2026, for $39.99. No cover art is available at this time.
Unlike the Archie Comics hardcover collection we covered yesterday, this book hasn’t been officially announced by Udon, so details could still change. It’s not up for preorder yet, but you can add it to your wishlist for now.
While a firm release date hasn’t been announced yet, Capcom seems to be taking steps toward that reveal, as Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection is now available to wishlist across the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and Steam. Each listing includes a fresh set of screenshots, with one in particular being a direct-feed image of the 3D Star Force Mega Man who appears on the game’s main menu. We also have our first look at Star Force 3's Custom Screen, which has been updated with HD assets.
A Nintendo eShop page isn’t live yet, though it may go up later this week, as the eShop typically updates on Thursdays. We'll keep you posted.
Back in April, Udon Entertainment announced plans to reprint Archie Comics’ Mega Man series in oversized hardcovers. While pre-orders aren’t open yet, Amazon has opened up a page for the first volume, Mega Man Adventures: A Hero is Built, and confirms it will include a brand-new bonus short story by Ian Flynn and Ryan Jampole.
Here's the solicitation:
The Blue Bomber’s classic comic book adventures, collected for the first time in a luxurious hardcover tome!
Dr. Light wanted to build a better tomorrow with his new Robot Masters, but the evil Dr. Wily reprogrammed them to take over the world! Now it's up to one little robot to save us all -- Mega Man!
Don't miss the first heroic adventures of Rock, a simple helper robot who takes up the fight for the greater good! This volume contains Rock's transformation into Mega Man, his first battles with the Robot Masters, and his titanic clash with Dr. Wily!Include an all-new 7-page bonus story by Ian Flynn and Ryan Jampole!
Volume 1 clocks in at 296 pages and is currently set to release on May 26, 2026. That date hasn’t been officially confirmed by Udon yet, so it could still change.
UPDATE (11/5): Per Lunar Distribution, both books have been further delayed to November 19th.
Mega Man ZX Timelines was originally scheduled for release this week, with Mega Man Legends Timelines set to follow shortly after. However, according to Lunar Distribution, Udon Entertainment’s primary distributor, both issues have experienced a last-minute delay and are now slated for release on Wednesday, November 5th. While the delay isn’t major, the silver lining is that fans should be able to pick up both issues on the same day.
For completion's sake, here are the official solicitations:
Mega Man ZX - Centuries in the future, a battle is fought over control of the Biometals – living artifacts that contain powerful weapon data! One person stands in the way of the destructive Pseudoroids and their hidden master using this power for evil – Vent, a Mega Man with the combined powers of Biometal Z and Biometal X!
Mega Man Legends - Far in the future, the Digger known as MegaMan Volnutt has discovered a valuable artifact from the distant past. Could it be the secret to unlocking a long-forgotten technology? The thieving Tron Bonne just wants to know… how much is it worth!? It’s an all-new adventure in the Halcyon Days!
At the 2025 All Japan Model and Hobby Show, reputable model kit enthusiast x_ledur met Shohei Chiba, the lead planner behind Kotobukiya’s Mega Man kits. Though busy, Chiba took a moment to chat and confirmed that the mysterious kit teased on January 31, 2024, is “still alive.” This is the first official mention of the project since its reveal.
The silhouette has sparked plenty of debate among fans. While guesses range from Copy X to Command Mission X or even something from X DiVE, none seem to fit the shape exactly. I’ve also confirmed that Kotobukiya’s license to produce Mega Man model kits, originally granted in 2010, only covers characters that appear in the official games. This means that, unless the terms have changed, the new kit can’t be an original Kotobukiya creation—it has to be based on an existing in-game character.
All we can continue to do now is wait for Kotobukiya or Capcom to finally pull back the curtain.
Threezero’s MDLX Mega Man line continues to expand with the reveal of its latest addition at the 2025 All Japan Model and Hobby Show: Cut Man. Marking the company’s first Robot Master in the series, the figure is still in the prototype stage but already looks sharp. A release date has yet to be announced.
Also making a return appearance is MDLX Zero, previously shown in May. Now fully painted, the figure showcases a more polished and complete look. As with Cut Man, no release or availability details have been shared.
At long, long last, Iris is stepping into the spotlight! Kotobukiya has officially announced that the iconic Mega Man X4 Reploid is getting her very own 1/12-scale model kit. Pricing and release date are still under wraps, but fans can rest easy knowing she’ll pair seamlessly with Kotobukiya’s previously-released Zero kits. A match made in heaven!
Based on the images released, Iris will include at least three interchangeable face plates, a set of hand parts, and articulated hair. Additional accessories have yet to be revealed.
Threezero's Mega Man line has finally branched outside of the Classic series with their latest release: Mega Man X. Can X go above and beyond his brother before him? Join me after the break where we'll go over everything this figure has to offer!
UPDATE: Now available to preorder from Big Bad Toystore; ships April 2026.
Bandai’s popular Grandista Mega Man figure appears to be getting a new coat of paint. A low res image of a metallic variant has surfaced on Weibo, My Figure Collection, and various figure pages in the last few hours. While this seems to be an early leak ahead of an official announcement from Bandai, initial details suggest the figure is slated for release in March 2026.
The original Grandista figure debuted in Japan in 2020 as a redemption prize before later seeing individual releases in North America and overseas. While it’s still available from select retailers, new stock appears to have dried up some time ago, making this new version seem poised to take its place.
New York Comic Con has kicked off, giving us a clearer look at three of Hiya Toys’ upcoming Mega Man X figures: X, Falcon Armor X, and Zero. Though still in the prototype stage, we now have a better sense of each character’s finer details and included accessories.
Not the clearest photo, but it’s all we’ve got for now.UPDATE: Better image added! Spotted by Toys Lab at Wonderfest Shanghai 2025, Hiya Toys has a new Falcon Armor X figure on display. Like X, Zero, and Sigma, it’s 1/12 scale and features the same articulation range.
That’s all the info for now—we’ll share more details as soon as they surface!
Via the Mega Man and Rockman Toys & Collectibles Facebook page, we have a brand-new look at Hiya Toys' 1/12 X figure. Currently on display at Wonderfest Shanghai, this is our first look at the figure in color following its appearance at the San Diego Comic-Con.
No further details were shared at the show beyond what’s already known: it’s part of the "Exquisite Basic" line, which means a solid range of articulation and a selection of accessories. Confirmed inclusions are multiple hand options, face plates, and X-Buster effect parts.
For more images of X—as well as Zero and Sigma—check out our earlier coverage here.
A new Teppen card set titled "Eternal Heroes" arrived in the game today. This new set introduces plenty of Capcom heroes, with the Mega Man series well represented.
Find all the cards and their flavor text after the break!
The Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association (CESA) announced the winners of the 2025 Japan Game Award Future Division during this year’s Tokyo Game Show. A total of eleven upcoming games were recognized as highly anticipated software, chosen through public voting and further evaluated by the Japan Game Awards Selection Committee. Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection was among the recipients, with producer Shino Izumi and Rockman Unity’s Ucchy-san appearing on stage to accept the award.
This marks the fifth time a Mega Man title has earned the honor, following Battle Network 3 in 2002, Battle Network 5 in 2004, Mega Man 11 in 2018, and Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection in 2022.
Each of those titles went on to achieve commercial success in Japan and overseas, making the Future Division Award something of an indicator of strong sales. Here's hoping Star Force Legacy Collection will carry the momentum forward.
You can watch this year’s awards ceremony via the archived stream here!
As anticipated, Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection producer Shingo Izumi joined Rockman Unity’s Ucchy-san on stage at Tokyo Game Show to present direct-feed gameplay and share a few new, notable details...
Word has it that Capcom is keeping a tight lid on filming the Star Force Legacy Collection demo at Tokyo Game Show—you need explicit permission to record. Still, YouTube user east9698 was able to capture about 16 minutes of gameplay from Star Force 1 (Dragon).
Some observations:
Fuyuka Oura voices Geo/Subaru, and Kentaro Ito voices Omega-Xis/War-Rock. It’s unclear whether this is new audio or remastered.
The title screen animation isn’t just an upscale of the DS version—it’s been fully remade.
Renaming Geo is no longer possible, likely to maintain consistency across all three games.
When navigating in-game menus, interactions between the bottom and top screens are automatic; you don’t need to manually switch between them.
The vertical screen display option (tate mode) is clearly designed to replicate the original Nintendo DS presentation.
Free Camera can be used at any time, which is especially useful when exploring Wave Roads.
As previously confirmed, Geo’s default movement speed can be adjusted, and you can really see it in action here!
As for when we might see direct feed footage, it’s anyone’s guess. Capcom has been slowly releasing screenshots over the past few days, and a panel with the game’s producer is scheduled for this Sunday. So sometime between now and then seems likely.
In case you haven't seen it before, Capcom has made the full Secret Level episode Mega Man: Start available on YouTube for free—no Amazon Prime account required. The release coincides with the grand reopening of Capcom Town, where the episode is "playing" at the Capcom Theater.
Mega Man: Start runs about seven minutes, roughly five without the opening and closing credits. It follows Rock’s transformation into Mega Man as Dr. Wily rises to power and larger-than-life Robot Masters wreak havoc across "Mega City". While most Secret Level episodes received mixed reviews, Mega Man: Start is one of the few that drew praise... but it's incredibly short.
There's no telling how long Mega Man: Start will stick around on YouTube, so you might as well check it out. It'll be over before you know it.
