4Gamer has published its annual feature asking Japanese game creators to reflect on what stood out to them in 2025 and what they’re looking ahead to in 2026. Among the contributors is Shingo Izumi, a name that has been steadily gaining recognition among Mega Man fans, who used the opportunity to share a message as we head into the new year.

Question 4: Please share your aspirations for 2026, along with a message for 4Gamer readers.
The Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection, which includes all seven titles from the three numbered entries in the Mega Man Star Force series, is scheduled to release on March 27, 2026. Customers who purchase during the pre-order period will receive a limited bonus, so we hope you’ll be sure to check it out.
In addition, on December 12, 2025, we announced the latest entry in the Mega Man series, Mega Man: Dual Override. The Boss Character Design Contest that launched alongside the announcement received far more submissions than we ever anticipated. The overwhelming love and passion from fans has filled the entire team with both surprise and gratitude, and it has further energized us as we continue development.
We will share more updates on the game as soon as the timing allows, so we appreciate your patience in the meantime.
We look forward to your continued support of Mega Man this year as well.

He's even posing with the buster, he might actually be goated
ReplyDeleteShiiiiiit, it really is shingo izumi, huh? You could feel his loss on Wilds with how bad management for post launch has been vs world. I think having him father MM is a way bigger deal than most realize tbh.
