Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection Official Soundtrack Now Available on Steam
Capcom has added the official Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection Original Soundtrack to Steam as a standalone digital purchase.
Available for $29.99, the release packs in 121 tracks across four discs in both FLAC and MP3 formats. While Steam can play the music directly through its built-in music player, the files can also be moved and used outside the client.
The bulk of the soundtrack is dedicated to the Kizuna Re:mix arrangements featured throughout the collection, covering all three games. The remaining pieces includes music made for the collection’s menus, tracks tied to the Geo and Omega-Xis model pack DLC, and the “Shooting Star” remix heard in the game’s promo trailers.
It's also worth pointing out that, unfortunately, the original Nintendo DS versions of the Star Force tracks are not included, and neither is the separate Battle Network music DLC.
Hiya Toys Wants Your Pick for Its Next High-End Mega Man Figure
Hiya Toys is asking Mega Man fans who they’d like to see join the company’s figure lineup next.
A new survey is now live, letting fans vote for their most-wanted character from across the franchise. The current choices include characters from the classic, Mega Man Zero, Mega Man X, and Battle Network series. Every one who votes gets entered into a raffile to win a Exquisite Series X figure.
Kotobukiya Possibly Teasing Dual Override or Grande Scale Mega Man Kit
Kotobukiya appears to be teasing a new Mega Man kit on Twitter, and the image above points to one especially notable detail: a significantly larger Mega Buster compared to the standard-sized one included with their previously released Mega Man 11 model kit.
At first glance, this could simply be teasing a larger classic Mega Man kit, possibly even a “Grande Scale” version of Mega Man 11 Mega Man. But with the Mega Buster noticeably larger in the key art for Dual Override, it’s hard not to wonder if Kotobukiya is hinting at something tied to the new game.
Whatever Kotobukiya is teasing here, the wording of their tweet makes it sound like pre-orders may be opening sooner than later. We’ll keep an eye out for the official reveal.

Rumor: Mega Man May Be Coming to Fortnite
After appearing in several Fortnite surveys over the years, Mega Man may finally be headed to Epic Games’ battle royale, if a new rumor pans out.
According to HYPEX, Fortnite leak sources SpushFNBR and Wensoing have reported that a Mega Man collaboration is currently “in the works.” Both are active in the Fortnite leak scene and have a history of accurately reporting upcoming content, though leaks like this often come from datamines, backend updates, or early shop-related information.
At this time, there’s no word on which version of Mega Man would appear. The classic series feels like the obvious choice, especially with Dual Override on the horizon. A Fortnite collaboration would also fit neatly into Capcom’s broader push to expand Mega Man’s visibility and introduce the IP to a wider audience.
As always, take this with a grain of salt until Epic Games or Capcom make it official. That said, Fortnite has already featured several Capcom collaborations, including Street Fighter and Resident Evil. Mega Man joining the lineup wouldn’t be too far-fetched.
We’ll keep an eye out for more details.

Mega Man: Bot in the Family Kickstarter Campaign Announced
Capcom and NF Publishing are teaming up for a brand-new book: Mega Man: Bot in the Family.
Written and illustrated by Matthew Taranto, best known for the gaming webcomic Brawl in the Family, the book will feature a full-color collection of comic strips celebrating the Blue Bomber’s long history. According to the announcement, the comics will span the entire 40-year history of the Mega Man series, with one chapter devoted to each mainline entry in the classic series.
The pitch promises a mix of humor, heart, and plenty of charm, all presented in a hardcover format. And yes, as the announcement proudly notes, every comic is “drawn by a full human.”

Mega Man: Dual Override Will Be Playable At Gamescom
Capcom announced today that it will return to Gamescom, the world’s largest gaming event, when the show kicks off in Cologne on August 26. This will also mark the first time that Mega Man: Dual Override will be playable by the public.
In addition, throughout the show Capcom will host several live streams in English, while German audiences will be able to watch daily broadcasts produced and presented by Rocket Beans TV. With that much coverage planned, there’s a very good chance we’ll see new gameplay footage from the game during the event.

Mega Man: Fully Charged Now Available on Tubi, YouTube
Over the last couple months, WildBrain has been steadily uploading full, free episodes of Mega Man: Fully Charged to its official YouTube channel, finally giving the show a home beyond Amazon’s digital storefront. Now, the series is even easier to watch: all 52 episodes are available to stream for free on Tubi in the United States.
As with the YouTube uploads, Tubi presents Fully Charged in its paired-episode format. That means the original 52 11-minute episodes are bundled into 26 half-hour slots, each running roughly 22 minutes.
Why the sudden push to make Fully Charged easier to watch after all these years? Your guess is as good as mine. But it may be one more small piece of Capcom’s broader effort to expand Mega Man’s reach and strengthen the brand as a core IP.

New Images of Hiya Toys Sigma, Coming Q3 2027
We first saw a prototype of Hiya Toys' Exquisite Basic Series Sigma a while back, and now we have our first proper look at the final figure.
Based on Sigma’s appearance in the original Mega Man X, the figure stands approximately 18cm tall and features his familiar green shoulder and chest armor, red chest gem, silver spiked wristbands, and knee guards. It also includes a real fabric red cape, along with replacement back armor parts that allow for both caped and uncaped display options.
Accessories include three interchangeable face parts, two interchangeable shoulder armor parts, three pairs of hands, a saber grip, a belt-mounted saber holder, and two illuminated saber effect parts. The figure also features magnetic soles for added stability when displayed on metal surfaces.
Sigma is expected to release in Q3 2027 for 119.99 USD (US Tariff Included). You can find more images here. UPDATE: Pre-orders are now available on Big Bad Toystore.
Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection Patch Arrives June 15
Capcom has announced that an update patch for Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection will be released on June 15, 2026.
The patch is intended to address bugs and improve functionality. However, Capcom has not specified which specific bugs will be fixed at this time.

Premium Bandai’s Rockman Logo Acrylics Bring Classic Tunes to Your Shelf
Premium Bandai Japan has opened pre-orders for a new line of Rockman acrylic logo displays, and these come with a neat little twist: music.
Officially titled Acrylic Logo Display Sounds Rockman, the lineup covers all 11 numbered games, from the original Rockman through Rockman 11. Each display features the game’s title logo and includes a sound base that plays music from the corresponding title screen. Since the first Rockman did not have title screen music, its display instead uses the stage select theme, Famitsu reports.
Each display is priced at 3,850 yen, with pre-orders open now through September 27th, 2026 at 11:00 PM JST. Orders are expected to ship in December.
At this time, there’s no word on whether these will be available through international Premium Bandai outlets, so importing may be the only option for now.

The Lost Lore of Mega Man X's Armors
The Mega Man X series is packed with fun, interesting details that are easy to miss the first time around. Some are hidden in character relationships, like Boomer Kuwanger and Gravity Beetle being siblings. Others come from minor characters who appear briefly but become fan favorites, like Green Biker Dude. And then there are the lingering mysteries, including one big question: what happens to X’s Armors after each game?
Today, I’m excited to share what might be my favorite piece of hidden lore in the series: the Armors from the first four X games may have actually been the same Armor all along. It sounds wild, but according to some old sources, that appears to be the case.
I put together a video covering this odd little piece of X series history, so check it out for the full breakdown. And a big thank you to Protodude for giving me the chance to share this one on Rockman Corner.

Inside the Rockman EXE x Quiz RPG Collaboration
The Rockman EXE and Quiz RPG: The World of Mystic Wiz and The Black Cat Wiz collaboration is now in full swing. Mega Man Soccer Coming to Capcom Town for Limited Time
The often-ignored Mega Man Soccer is finally getting a little attention from Capcom. Maybe not in the way many had hoped, but hey, it’s something.
From June 1st to June 30th, Mega Man Soccer will be playable through Capcom Town on PC and smartphone browsers. This marks the first time the game has been widely available in an official capacity in the modern era, as it still lacks a Legacy Collection re-release, Nintendo Switch Online release, or anything along those lines. The game was, however, included in the obscure Capcom Retro Station in 2020.
Mega Man Soccer is scheduled to leave Capcom Town at the end of the month, though the official Capcom Town Twitter account notes that it may return at a later date.

Rockman EXE 25th Anniversary Commemorative Edo Kiriko Glasses Revealed
Campfire’s Japanese goods shop Yuruwa has announced a pair of Edo Kiriko glasses based on Rockman.EXE and Blues.EXE to commemorate the series' 25th anniversary. Each glass is limited to 150 pieces and comes packaged in a special paulownia wood box.
The Rockman glass comes in lapis blue, with digital block-style detailing, Rockman’s silhouette, and his Navi mark on the bottom. The Blues version comes in deep red, with Blues’ silhouette, his Navi mark, and traditional cuts meant to evoke the sharp slashes of his sword.
Both glasses are priced at 59,400 yen each, including tax. Pre-orders opened on May 28th at 6:00 PM JST and run through June 28th at 11:59 PM JST, with shipping planned for mid-to-late December 2026.
Ordering from outside Japan may not be easy, if it’s possible at all. Still, for diehard EXE collectors, this is one to keep an eye on, especially with only 150 of each design being made.

Rockman EXE and Quiz RPG Collaboration Announced
With Shooting Star Rockman back in the spotlight, it’s a little surprising to see Capcom give Rockman EXE the collaboration treatment right now. But here we are.
Japanese mobile card-battling game Quiz RPG: The World of Mystic Wiz and The Black Cat has announced a new Rockman EXE collaboration event with Capcom. The event will feature a themed quest called "Rockman EXE Operation Genma Special Zone," along with EXE-themed gacha and a Quiz Rush mode based on the series.
The collaboration is set to begin on May 29th, 2026.
Unfortunately, Quiz RPG: The World of Mystic Wiz and The Black is not available in English, so fans overseas will have to enjoy this one from afar. For now, you can check out the event's main key art and screenshot above.

Exploring Mega Man X7's Unused Areas
In January 2025, I released dumps of two pre-release builds of Mega Man X7: the E3 2003 Special Edition and a U.S. press event disc. Both builds already had their share of differences from the final game, including X being fully playable in the intro stage. But only now are we learning that there’s even more unused content hiding in the code.

New X, Zero, Proto Man, and Dr. Wily Funko Pops Revealed
Funko is adding four new Mega Man figures to its lineup: X, Zero, Proto Man, and Dr. Wily. The wave pulls from both the classic and X series, with Wily making for an especially fitting addition alongside our heroes. His new figure is a pretty big glow-up from the original version released way back when. Proto Man's upgrade isn't too shabby either.
The new Pops are set to go up for pre-order on Wednesday, May 27 at 9:00 AM PT. Pricing, retailers, and release timing haven’t been announced yet, but we’ll keep you posted as those details come in.

Rockman Gets McDonald's Japan Collaboration Featuring "Can't Beat Air Man"
Following yesterday’s tease, McDonald’s Japan has officially lifted the lid on its Rockman collaboration, promoting premium iced coffee just in time for the summer season. And there may be no better way to do that than by bringing back “Can't Beat Air Man", the popular song set to a special video produced in partnership with Team.Nekokan and Capcom.
Unfortunately, the video is region-locked on Twitter, but I’ve taken the liberty of reuploading it to YouTube... at least until the copyright strikes come knocking.
The collaboration also reaches the Japanese McDonald’s Rewards app, where users can exchange points for three mobile wallpapers: one based on Dual Override, one featuring Star Force Legacy Collection, and a simpler 8-bit piece starring Rockman and Dr. Wily titled "Road to 40", honoring the impending 40th anniversary of the franchise.

McDonald's Japan Teasing Rockman Collaboration
The official McDonald’s Japan Twitter account has posted a teaser image featuring the unmistakable silhouette of Rockman’s classic 8-bit sprite, drink in hand. No additional details have been shared yet, but it suggests some kind of Rockman-themed tie-in is on the way.
If this sounds familiar, McDonald’s Japan previously teamed up with Capcom for a Street Fighter collaboration in 2025. That campaign brought limited-time “Street Burgers” inspired by Ryu, Chun-Li, and Ken, along with special Street Fighter 6 tie-in content.
Whether this Rockman tease points to a themed menu item, merchandise, or something else entirely remains to be seen. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long to find out...

Udon's Mega Man X Comics Will Now Release Digitally Same Day as Print
Earlier this year, Neon Ichiban partnered with Udon Entertainment to distribute Mega Man comics digitally, with new issues originally planned to arrive one month after their print release. Starting this week, though, that rollout strategy is changing for the better.
Neon Ichiban has confirmed that, beginning with Mega Man X #3, Udon's Mega Man X comics will now launch on the platform on the same day as their print release. According to Neon Ichiban, the update came after some successful "sweet talk" with Udon. As of today, both Mega Man X #3 and Mega Man X #2 are available on the platform.
Whether this new arrangement will carry over to future Mega Man comics remains to be seen, but for now, it's definitely a win.

Back in February, Kotobukiya finally pulled back the curtain on the mysterious silhouette that had been teasing fans for the past couple of years. In a reveal few saw coming, the company unveiled a brand-new, large-scale Fourth Armor X kit for its premium Decoction line.
Now, to coincide with the Shizuoka Hobby Show, Kotobukiya has shared two crisp high-resolution images of the prototype mold, giving us a better look at the kit. That said, finer details like pricing and a release window are still being kept under wraps.

Officially-Licensed Mega Man Gaming Watch Announced
Need more Mega Man 2 in your life? Look no further, friend. Capcom has teamed up with My Play Watch to release an official digital gaming watch that includes a "reimagined" version of Mega Man 2 adapted for one-hand play.
The watch includes a few different ways to play. Classic Mode lets you pick from multiple Robot Master stages, take down bosses, etc. Arcade Mode strings stages together with increasing speed and difficulty, with a scoring system as the main hook. There’s also Play Time Mode, which is less “game” and more animated Mega Man watch faces, complete with pixel art and themed displays.
Beyond Mega Man 2, it does the usual digital watch things too: time keeping, step tracking, heart rate monitoring, and calories. There’s no Bluetooth, no Wi-Fi, no notifications, and no apps so if you're looking to replace your smartwatch with this, maybe don't.
The watch is currently available to pre-order exclusively from GameStop for $79.99. It's expected to ship on June 16th.

Rare Rockman X3 Book Scanned, Artwork Preserved
In 1996, Capcom and Nagaoka Shoten published a Rockman X3 pop-up book exclusively in Japan, adapting the game into a hands-on craft book where young readers could assemble scenes from the game.
While a neat collectible in its own right, the book has long been sought after by fans because it contains original cel-painted artwork not seen in any other X3 media. It also hasn’t been reprinted anywhere else.
Now, for the first time, the book’s contents have been preserved thanks to Epsilon1234. All 48 pages, along with the accompanying artwork, can be viewed on the Internet Archive across two uploads: scans of the 21 artwork pages and photographs of the full book, including the non-art pages.
And if you have a high-quality printer, you could even try printing the individual pages and assembling the dioramas yourself. If not, there’s still plenty of great pieces here to enjoy.

Official Mega Man: Dual Override Hoodie References 'Override System'
The drip-feed of miscellaneous Mega Man: Dual Override merchandise continues with the reveal of an official pullover hoodie exclusive to e-Capcom. Styled after Mega Man’s updated look in the game, the hoodie also includes a couple of details worth pointing out.
Most obvious is the “12” front and center, another not-so-subtle nod to Dual Override being the 12th mainline entry in the classic series. More intriguing, though, is the mention of an “Override System” printed across the drawstrings. It does not shed any new light on what “Dual Override” specifically refers to, but it is the clearest sign yet that the term is tied to something substantial within the game itself, and possibly to Mega Man’s abilities.
What exactly the Override System is remains anyone’s guess for now, but if you ask me, it has all the makings of the game’s central mechanic, much like Mega Man 11’s Double Gear System.
More updates in time...

There's a Small Mega Man Easter Egg in Pragmata
No, Pragmata isn't a Mega Man game. That much is obvious. But that hasn't stopped Capcom from having a little fun with the fan theory that's become something of a meme, whether through cross-promotional tweets or that pretty great April Fool's joke.
And apparently, that playfulness doesn't end there. Now that Pragmata is finally in players' hands, some have started spotting a small Blue Bomber reference tucked away in the game...
The History of Mega Man Star Force 2's Kung-Foo Kid
We know the names attached to many of Mega Man's contest-winning bosses, but the stories behind those designs are much harder to come by. Unless the winner later becomes someone especially notable, like Yusuke Murata, that part of the character's history usually goes untold.
Kentaro Fujii, the creator of Goat Kung-Fu, known in English as Kung Foo-Kid, from Mega Man Star Force 2, is not a name most fans would immediately recognize. But in a recent blog post, he offers a rare look at the story behind his winning design.

Mega Man 2 LCD Game Gets an Enhanced Fan-Remake
One of the most obscure versions of Mega Man 2 has been given new life thanks to indie developer Zeichi Games. An enhanced remake of Tiger Electronics’ Mega Man 2 handheld LCD game is now available, featuring revamped gameplay and a number of improvements. It plays less like a weird late-'80s novelty toy and more like a bite-sized game, while still paying homage to the original’s oddball charm.
The remake comes as a .gb file, making it playable through emulation on Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and even Super Game Boy. Batteries not required.
You can grab it for free from Zeichi Games' Itch.io page here!

X-Plus Gigantic Series Rockman Reissue Announced
In 2015, X-Plus released what was, at the time, the largest commercially available Rockman figure as part of its Gigantic Series. Standing 14 inches tall, the figure has been out of print for years, but later this summer, it’s getting another shot.
E-Capcom has announced a reissue of the figure, scheduled to ship in late July for 16,500 yen (about $103 USD). This is the same release as the original 2015 version, complete with the alternate helmetless head part. The price is also notably lower than what it typically goes for on the secondhand market. As an added bonus, E-Capcom is including a rubber keychain featuring a cute chibi-style Rockman.
Right now, the reissue appears to be exclusive to E-Capcom, though that could change. If it doesn’t, international buyers will need to order through ZenMarket, which serves as E-Capcom’s preferred proxy service. UPDATE: Pre-orders up on Big Bad Toystore.

Mega Man X #4 "Ladies of X" Cover Variant Revealed
Mega Man X #4 is now available to pre-order, and as usual, the Udon Store has an exclusive cover variant by Atomic Marshmallow. This one puts Navigators Minerva and Luna front and center.
Like the previous Atomic Marshmallow covers, it also connects to the others to form a larger collage featuring the ladies of Mega Man X. And with only one issue left in the current story arc, it raises a fair question: just whose hand is that on the edge of the cover?
Mega Man X #4 is scheduled to arrive in stores on May 27th. You can also check out the previously revealed covers A through D here!
