The NFC-enabled Mega Man and Proto Man keychains we talked about a few months ago are now available in Japan. When scanned, they let you take pictures with the boys while music from Dual Override plays on a loop.
As it turns out, that music is the full, unedited title theme, which we've only heard in bits and pieces until now. You can give it a listen here!
The rip comes courtesy of ChosenFluffy, who owns the Proto Man version of the keychain. I've also been able to confirm that the Mega Man version plays the exact same theme, so there's no difference between the two in that regard.
Enjoy!
ugh mega man music is so good, there's some interesting harmony in here too! This piece is very MM2 Wily 1 coded, it's in the same key, similar tempo, has the Dorian 6th in the melody, and shares certain melodic phrases, while still being it's own distinct piece. They definitely are paying homage to Mega Man music hehe
ReplyDeleteLol who knew that the full title theme would be found via a keychain of all things?
