This year's Shizuoka Hobby Show is upon us and with it, we get a good amount of news and updates on previously announced model kits from Kotobukiya! Although no groundbreaking announcements were made, there's plenty to delve into. Stick around after the break as we review all the insights gleaned from this show!
First up, we have MAX ARMOR Triad Thunder Ver. Finally seeing this in color is really a treat. The colors really pop, and the additional parts for the dash pose are a welcome extra. The main highlight is, of course, the Triad Thunder piece! It's absolutely massive and translucent to boot! While no release date was given, Kotobukiya did announce that pre-orders for this kit will go live next week, so be on the lookout for that! This one is just begging for your sense and skill! Next we get our first look at the prototype for Forte.EXE. Even though information on this kit remains sparse, we still get a good look at the design, as well as how dynamic his signature cloak can be. More photos can be found here.
Last up is this absolute unit. With the first showing of Sigma's prototype here, we can see that he possesses an imposing and impressive stature! Although we don't have precise measurements yet, it's certain that his remarkable size will tower over the Maverick Hunter trio and leave the competition in awe.
One extra bit of news we got was that Black Zero will be a Kotobukiya Shop Limited Item, similar to Premium Charge Shot X, MAX ARMOR Hyperchip Ver., and Zero Nightmare, so you may not be able to purchase him from your usual retailers.

ReplyDeleteother character-wise, I'd hope iris and alia are next. they'd make the most sense since they have in-game alts that can easily be made into alt kits. though, with RiCO being so popular on the survey, I wouldn't be surprised if we end up getting some alt skins from X dive.

I wonder if the triad thunder kit has the upgraded feet. might get more of him just to get the upgraded feet for the other X3 armors
ReplyDeleteI’m not sure how true this is but I remember reading in a article on here a while back that the Triad Thunder X will have slightly better poseability compared to the original and Hyper Chip releases.
