Jada Toys Mega Man Figure Delayed to December (Big Bad Toystore)

Just as things were settling in place Jada Toys' new Mega Man toyline, there's unfortunate news from one retailer.

The 6-inch Mega Man figure, initially set to ship in November, is now slated for a December release. This update came via an email sent to customers who pre-ordered the figure from Big Bad Toystore. The exact reasons for this slight delay are unclear. However, the other figures in Wave 1 - Fire Man and Ice Man - currently remain unaffected and are still on track for their original release dates.

BBTS is currently the only retailer reporting this delay, and it's uncertain if others will follow. A representative from Jada Toys was unavailable for comment. We'll provide updates as they come in.

Thanks for the tip, phaelin!

  1. There were already delays with their Street Fighter II line, so I’m not that surprised. Just hoping these figures are able to match the same quality as them, too.

    1. Chances are you’d be able to get the figures earlier from other online retailers since BBTS gets everything several months later than other stores.

  2. Really wish chubby formats weren't a thing. Classic MegaMan always had bad art early on I wish the appearance in MegaMan 8 was used more often its cleaner and overall 10x better in design MegaMan 11 design is fine but it's just chest lines lol.

    1. I'm more of a fan of the Mega Man 7-8 proportions the characters had as well and used up until the early 2000's. I'm not sure why Capcom pretty much regressed to the earlier art style and why none of the toy makers use those proportions.

    2. That's exactly why I am not a big fan of the classic series... I just couldn't take some of the designs seriously.

    3. These are some bad takes. I'll tell you that much.

    4. I just find the style to be a bit too cutesy at times for an action platforming game about a robot who fights other robots with sci fi weaponry.

  3. I would take BBTS with a grain of salt, they are always delaying pre orders by several months when other online retailers get them in stock months earlier.
