Not the clearest photo, but it’s all we’ve got for now. UPDATE: Better image added! Spotted by Toys Lab at Wonderfest Shanghai 2025, Hiya Toys has a new Falcon Armor X figure on display. Like X, Zero, and Sigma, it’s 1/12 scale and features the same articulation range.
That’s all the info for now—we’ll share more details as soon as they surface!

they like falcon armor, huh?
ReplyDeleteI already have Falcon from Kotobukiya, but it's a good thing Hiya is on the same scale. I can definitely go for Gaea, Shadow, Glide and Neutral, if any of those are on the cards...
ReplyDeleteI think they should go for the 1st armor and then the ultimate as those are the most iconic ones and a good test bed for the others. That being said I will always respect a line for making the attempt even if it doesn't get far.
ReplyDelete1st armor is recognizable due to being the first one, but desin-wise it's pretty simplistic compared to the other. i can see why a figure manufacturer would go for the more visually distinctive Falcon Armor if they wanna make an attempt.
DeleteBut hasn't this often led to lines that die out regardless, leading to tons of X/Zero/popular armor figures and nothing else? I might be wrong
DeleteIt's the same issue that classic has with recolors yes. That's why I think having at least the most iconic ones made and testing waters so to speak would be better. But, that's just me.
Deleteok you guys, I get it, its a toy show & you are showing a prototype off~ but oh my GOD is that a sloppy armature print job. I mean why on earth would any toy maker use a filament printer over resin couldn't afford the $600 price difference?, there are layer lines all over the place, what a mess.
ReplyDeleteBecause it's an industry standard I see all the time, its easily sand-able and primeable, and there is no reason to spend $600 dollars for a new machine when the old one works fine.
DeleteMost people realize what a prototype is and don't lose their minds over things like layer lines. Every resin print I have ever seen in person has bubbles in it and also look terrible. So...
Also, if it's a nylon print you might have more robustness and flexibility than a rigid resin print.
Oh, good. I don't need to spend 600 dollars to make something that's just going to turn out terrible, then.
DeleteMan you buy an elegoo you will NEVER see bubbles, comes out mold-ready even better if you sand it for 12 minutes
DeleteKoto already delivered not to mention the 200$ falcon armor figure cant be beat.
ReplyDeleteI really wish we’d get model kits of actual bosses as opposed to main characters. Imagine a Magma Dragoon or Dark Mantis kit? Surely those would sell wouldn’t they?
ReplyDeleteI'd go with Spark Mandrill or Storm Eagle first, personally.
DeleteThey should have started with Gaea, Shadow or Glide instead of choosing an armor with already two figures...
ReplyDeleteYet I'm glad I didn't buy the Kotobukiya yet, maybe I'll give this one a shot
