Misadventures of Tron Bonne Now Available on North American PSN Store

No sooner than it was teased, Tron Bonne has launched on the North American PSN Store today. You can play it on your PS3, PS Vita or PSP for a cool $5.99. Hey, that's a LOT cheaper than the asking prices on eBay (upwards of $200). Mind you, this re-release does not come with the Legends 2 demo. It's Tron Bonne in all its digital splendor.

What are you still doing here? Go get it!

  4. Should I invest in this game? I mean no bull, as objectively (and by objective I mean the standards held by the majority, like most people thinking the aiming system in OoT being better than Legends) as possible is this game a good game? And no at the time stuff, it's either fun or outdated.

    1. It's still fun. Not too much like the regular Mega Man Legends, but defanitely still fun. This like a collection of minigames with a plot that ties them together. You can probably beat it in under ten hours. Because it's a prequel there aren't any spoilers for the rest of the series. The servbots are fun to mess with. The price is good too.

    2. It'll definitely feel a bit clunky because the controls were never spectacular in this series. But once you get used to them, the game (and the other two Legends games) are still a blast to play today. They ooze charm and the gameplay is very enjoyable.

      Definitely pick it up.

    3. I had no idea it was like a series of mini games, thanks for the heads up.

    4. The game has one main goal, managing your resources and Servbots to earn a total of 3 million dollar. To do, it breaks down 4 playstyles. Action Stages, Dungeon-crawler RPG, Block-moving Puzzles, and various Servbot training mini-games.

The controls aren't the smoothest, but it doesn't take too long to get used to them. And it has a decent amount of replayable with lots of hidden secrets and just bunch little things and ways to mess around. Imo, it never gets old to have the Servbots take the wheels off of police cars.

    1. Bleh. It's really not that great and was included in the X Collection not that long ago.

    2. "not that long ago" The X collection came out in 2006, that was almost 10 years ago, so yes, it is "that long ago".

    4. I'm still not sure how they would release Battle & Chase on the PSN, Sony always state that the code from the original game cannot be altered on them & since it wasn't released in the States you'd probably end up with the inferior EU version that runs at 50hz & removed any Chest, Plum & Ripot dialogue to be able to play it in English..

  6. I still can't believe this has happened so fast! This does give me a small, tiny ray of hope of getting those other Legends titles on PSN... If the voice acting contract stuff has been resolved (which it sounds like since all the original voices are in the PSN version of Tron Bonne!) there's still that slim chance of getting the other games... although I guess it remains to be seen if the IP stuff has been solved with the anime studio building & drinks company logo I guess.. Either way dunno why nearly all the comments so far are negative about this being re-released, I dunno about anyone else but I would certainly rather pay $6 than $200-500 that the physical version would cost + you can play this on a variety of systems, even on the go! If the Japanese PSN releases are anything to go by it'd be pretty cool if could get MM8 & Battle & Chase too, guess we'll just have to wait & see!

  7. While I am super happy that the rest of the world gets to enjoy this goofy game, which is enjoyable for those who like the Legends world as much as I do; there goes my kids college fund... Was saving my copy of Tron Bonne for a rainy day... (JK I would never sell my MM Legends games!!!!) -Logan O.
