"Sacred God Wood Man" Stars in Rockman-san Chapter 9

In the previous Rockman-san chapter, we witnessed the arrival of Enker -- the only robot to oppose robot disarmament. In a world of peace, Enker simply couldn't move on with his life. Born as a "Rockman Killer", he continues to seek out and fight Rockman because that's his only reason to live.

Eventually, Rockman and Roll offered to help Enker find a new purpose. But after three hours of brainstorming, they couldn't come up with anything worthwhile. Enker decides to resume his fight with Rockman... that's where that story arc ended. For now, maybe.

The latest Rockman-san chapter focuses entirely on Wood Man. In the years following Dr. Wily's retirement, Wood Man became a replacement for a temple's sacred tree. However, he's worried about how to properly fulfill the duties of a god without the omniscience of an actual god.

You can check the new chapter here!

"REMASTERED TRACKS ROCKMAN ZERO Mythos" Booklet Translation

Released back in 2010 to celebrate the launch of Rockman Zero Collection for Nintendo DS, REMASTERED TRACKS ROCKMAN ZERO Mythos came packed with remixes from the series and a new track composed for the collection..

The album contained a hidden track (Cannon Ball - Mythos Ver.) and a vocal version of Rockman Zero 3 staff roll “Everlasting Red” sung by Toru Itoga. That's a name that may sound familiar to some of you; he sang for other CD releases from REMASTERED TRACKS ROCKMAN ZERO Idea (Clover) and ZXA Tunes (Mirai e Tsuzuku Kaze) to Rockman 10 Image Soundtrack (Last Exit and One And Only).

Toru Nakayama returned to illustrate the cover art, too. It was a striking, futuristic take on Zero's original design which inspired countless fan-arts over the years. There's even been a few custom figures and model kits too.

There's a lot to appreciate about Mythos. And now, eleven years later, we can read the booklet in English, translated by our friend Sidier. Read on for the goods!

The DiVE Festival gacha brings increased odds to get S rank characters and weapons, every time you pull Ultimate Armor X you will get 40 additional memories and everyone gets a free 10-pull. What's more, this banner introduces the "pity system". You'll be guaranteed a chance to get Ultimate Armor X as long as you spend 25,000 EM. Unfortunately the free 10-pull doesn't count towards getting the necessary 250 pity coins to get him.

Marvel vs Capcom "Head-to-Head" Arcade Table Up for Pre-Order

Arcade1Up's latest batch of machines are live. Chief among them, a new "Head-to-Head" Marvel vs Capcom arcade table

According to the product description, it comes pre-loaded with eight Capcom VS titles: Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men vs Street Fighter, Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter, Marvel vs Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes, X-Men: Children of the Atom, X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse, Marvel Super Heroes: War of the Gems, and The Punisher. Phew!

The machine stands at 29-inches tall and features a clear cover top. It's primed and ready to be soiled with pizza grease and soda. You know, for that real authentic arcade experience. The whole package will set you back a staggering $699.99, though.

While I appreciate Arcade1Up's efforts to get these legacy titles back in the public sphere, Capcom and Marvel desperately need to get 'em up on consoles/PC. It'll be far more economical on everyone's wallet! Until then... start saving?

Mega Man 11 Announced for Amazon Luna

Amazon Luna, the company's ever-growing cloud-gaming platform, just got "mega-fied". Mega Man 11 is now available to play on the Luna+ Channel with early access. Subscriptions start at $5.99.

The footage above isn't from the Luna version, FYI. Early impressions suggest that the game runs as well as its console/PC counterparts. Barring a decent internet connection, it sounds promising.

With 1.4 million units under its belt, Mega Man 11 is on its way to becoming one of the franchise's best selling titles. The jump to Amazon Luna only furthers Capcom's evergreen strategy, which aims to maximize Mega Man 11's audience and profitability. This approach has proven successful enough; seemingly replacing the franchise's reliance on a yearly "core" entry to retain profit.

A brand-new, "major" Mega Man title is expected to launch between Q3-Q4 2022.

Review: Kotobukiya Mega Man X Fourth Armor

Since it began in 2019, Kotobukiya’s Mega Man X kits have been a really fun line to collect. When they first announced that they were developing the Max Armor (i.e “Third Armor”), I knew this line was going to be special.

So with my favorite X Armor under their belt, what did Kotobukiya do next? Why, my second favorite armor -- the Force Armor (or Fourth Armor) of course! And, really, I was completely blown away. Not only did Kotobukiya have the same taste as me, but the build quality continued to be amazing. Check out my review after the break!
