Good Smile Announces Mega Man X Nendoroid Pin

You might know Good Smile from their fantastic and growing line of Mega Man X Nendoroids, among other properties. And today, the company announced a new line of "Nendoroid Pins" featuring a cute, 2.5-inch X!

Did I mention it's on sale now? Yeah, you can buy this little guy today directly from Good Smile. He'll set you back $14.99. I'm not a pin collector, but there's some fun value to be had by displaying it alongside your X Nendo. Or maybe you just want to rep your love for X on your backpack? Who knows!

Ken Spears, Co-Creator of Mega Man Ruby-Spears Cartoon, Has Died

It was only this past August that we said goodby to Joe Ruby. Today we learned that his partner and dear friend, Ken Spears, has passed away. He was 82-years old.

Alongside Joe Ruby, Ken Spears co-created no only Scooby-Doo! but the much-adored Mega Man animated series from the early nineties. Ken Spears worked closely with Capcom to develop the show, which ultimately aired in the U.S in 1994. Ken Spears would go on to direct numerous episodes during the show's two season run.

“Ken will forever be remembered for his wit, his story-telling, his loyalty to family, and his strong work ethic,” said Ken Spears' son, Kevin Spears. "Ken has been a role model for us throughout his life and he will continue to live on in our hearts.”

Cheesy as it was, I absolute adore the Ruby-Spears cartoon. And I have both Ken and Joe to thank. Rest well, king.

Copy X Becomes the First Playable Boss in Rockman X DiVE

Back in September 2019,  the Rockman X DiVE development team asked us via survey if we would like to have playable bosses. And now, coinciding with the celebration of the 6th DiVE Festival, the first playable boss (not counting Ferham and Leviathan; they weren't bosses *in* DiVE) will arrive to game on Wednesday. It's none other than Copy X!

Monika Toys Mega Man 2 Robot Master Statues Shipping Details

Good news, everyone. Monika Toys sends word that their much-anticipated Mega Man 2 Robot Master statues are getting ready to ship later this month. Production is on schedule and they're looking to ship Air Man, Metal Man and Crash Man within the next few weeks to folks who previously placed a pre-order.

Now, here's the important bit. At this time shipping rates are approximately $40.00~$45.00 USD per statue. That price range is not final; it's a bit erratic right now due to the on-going COVID-19 situation. Monika Toys will have a better indication closer to the soon-to-be-announced ship date. The statues' reseller outside of Asia will also contact you closer to the the shipping date with your orders as well.

In the meantime, Monika Toys sent over a sneak peek of the production workshop. Check 'em out after the break!

Mega Man: Fully Charged #1-6 Trade Paperback Outed by Amazon

With Boom Studios' limited Mega Man Fully Charged comic book series winding down, it was only a matter of time before a trade paperback was announced.

While not officially confirmed at this time, Amazon has begun accepting pre-orders for a 144-page trade paperback. This single volume release will include all six issues of the comic for a cool $14.99. It's expected to ship on July 6th, 2021.

The Fully Charged comic has been a real pleasant surprise to many. Some would say it greatly enhances, if not, stands above the animated series. If you've been curious about the Fully Charged comic and haven't been keeping up with individual issues, then this tome may be for you.

"X Ver.Ke" Skin Coming to Rockman X DiVE Next Week

Announced today via social media, the popular "X Ver.Ke" figure designed by Keisuke Mizuno for TruForce Collectibles will be available in Rockman X DiVE starting next week on November 11th as a new X skin.

As you can see in the image above, the development team changed the name to "X M.K.Ver.". They didn't reveal what method will be required to obtain it, but the last few skins were only available to purchase from the in-game store with EM (not paid).

This kind of armor design lends itself to an easy recolor. Will we see a "X-Boost" or "X-Kai" version too sometime?

Stay tuned!
