First 4 Figures Mega Man Statue Now Available for Pre-order
Way back in June, collectible maker First 4 Figures showed off three prototype Mega Man statues. Now they've announced more details and images for the first statue planned for sale, "Running Mega Man."
Yet More Super Smash Bros. 3DS Demo Codes! (All Gone)
Thanks to the gracious donation of Digit Press' Nz17, we have three more Super Smash Bros. 3DS demo download codes to giveaway. Sure, the public demo will be out on Thursday... but wouldn't it be nice to play it early? Of course!
Here's how this is going to work: I will be updating this post three times today with a new code. No need to comment or anything like that - just keep a watchful eye right here. I will be using Twitter to provide clues when the next code will drop. All three codes are restricted to North American 3DS consoles.
Good luck everyone!

All gone!

Amazon Outs "Sonic/Mega Man: The Complete Epic"
Looking to pick up the complete Mega Man and Sonic the Hedgehog Worlds Collide crossover in one fell swoop? If a listing at Amazon is to be believed, Archie Comics are readying an all-in-one tome.
"Sonic / Mega Man: Worlds Collide: The Complete Epic" is slated to ship on May 26th, 2015 for $22.49. The 336-page paperback will collect all twelve issues of the Worlds Collide story arc. From start to finish it's all here.
Of note, it looks like this particular product will absorb the previously announced "Deluxe Edition." I'm not fully aware what happened there, but this is certainly the intended collection. It's a bit of a ways away but, hey, it couldn't hurt to slip in a pre-order. If you're new to the comics or just want to add another book to your collection, this one's for you.

Enjoy the Mega Man Music of Super Smash Bros.
Super Smash Bros. for 3DS will see a release in internationally in a matter of weeks. But of course, there are other ways to enjoy it until then, such as rocking out to some tunes. YouTube has quickly become home to a majority of the game's soundtrack - we'll share with you the four Mega Man pieces. If you don't want to be spoiled, I suggest you move on!

Giveaway: Super Smash Bros. 3DS Demo Code (OVER)
I'm fortunate enough to have one additional Super Smash Bros. 3DS demo code. So if you aren't a platinum Club Nintendo member and you'd like to get your hands on this early preview, listen up.
I'm holding a very easy contest. Simply comment on this post with a valid e-mail address*. That's it. I'll be choosing one winner at random tonight, around 12:00 am CST. This is a North American code, so I'm sorry to say this contest is open only to owners of NA region 3DS consoles.
If anyone has codes valid in EU, I would greatly appreciate a donation. I'd like to hold another giveaway for our friends on the other side of the pond. Any codes I recieve personally from here on out will be used for daily giveaways leading up to the demo's public release this Thursday, September 19.
In the meantime... have at it!
UPDATE: we have a random winner. Congrats to ScottPop!

Mega Man 7 is Available Now on NA Wii U Virtual Console
Surprise! During today's Nintendo Treehouse live stream event, it was announced that Mega Man 7 has launched on the Wii U Virtual Console. Currently available to players in North America, the SNES classic is going for $7.99. This marks the first time the game has been re-released digitally anywhere. Better late than never, right?
Unfortunately, Mega Man 7 is not part of the current Smash Bros. sale on the eShop. You'll be needing to pick this one up at full price.

Super Smash Bros. 3DS - Mega Man Gameplay
To this dismay of everyone outside of Japan, there's a Super Smash Bros. demo available on the Nintendo 3DS eShop. Sad, I know. So while we wait for an international version, here's some excellent footage of Mega Man in action. You can watch it with envious eyes over and over. It looks great, doesn't it?
With the Nintendo Treehouse stream set for Friday, perhaps we'll have some good news to share. Until then, fingers crossed.
Rockman Set To Invade Japanese Theme Park
Capcom is teaming up with popular amusement park Hanayashiki for a month-long Rockman event dubbed "Rockman: The Schemed for Hanayashiki!?"
Beginning September 13th, park-goers will be treated to Rockman-themed food and activities. The promotional event includes a stamp rally wherein patrons can win nifty prizes (look! A Rockman cartridge eraser). Specially themed postcards will be given away, too, featuring "Rockman x Hanayashiki" collaboration art. Food-wise, well, it's what you'd expect: an entire menu devoted to Rockman dishes. "Cut Man Curry", "Elec Man's Thunderale", "Fire Man's Fire Storm Pot Stickers". The list, for better or worse, goes on.
Check it out after the jump!

Mega Man X5 Arrives on North American PSN Store
Hot off the heels of Mega Man X4, Mega Man X5 is now available to download from the PlayStation Store. The fifth entry in the X series will run $5.99, currently compatible with PlayStation 3 and PS Vita.
I wish more could be said about future Mega Man PSN releases, but this is all we'll be receiving for the time being. Capcom USA's Brett Elston did allude to future plans, though Mega Man X6's fate remains uncertain. A post on Capcom Unity implies some legal hurdles to overcome. Specifically, the game's two Japanese songs, "Moon Light" and "The Answer" by Showtaro Morikubo.
We'll keep an ear to the ground, of course. Stay tuned.

Hey, Have Some Mega Man X Corrupted Gameplay
Admittedly, I haven't featured Mega Man X Corrupted here as much as I should have. But today I'm amending that. For your consideration, here's the latest look at the highly anticipated fan-game by JKB Games. We're taking a look at the freshly developed Crystal Raffler stage, complete with music and a number of perils.
For the uninitiated, Corrupted is a flash-based game that has been in development since 2007. Though largely inspired the SNES X titles, the game plays more like a Metroidvania. Previous videos (available to watch any time on JKB's YouTube), show us just how dynamic the world can be. It's far more freeform than anything seen in, say, Mega Man ZX.
If you'd like to learn more about the game, hit up JKB's official Facebook.

Rockman Sound Box Available to Preorder
If your wallets still haven't given up with all the Mega Man goods coming out, you can now preorder the Rockman Sound Box from Amazon Japan (ships internationally). The 10-disc set is a budget version of the 2012 "Sound E-Can" CD collection, sans the actual E-Can. Instead, you get a nice package that complements the Rockman X Sound Box.
Chances are slim to none this will be release elsewhere. However, Capcom recently tossed up a whole bunch of classic series soundtracks on iTunes (digital versions of the Sound E-Can discs). If you're on a budget, I say that's the way to go.
