July Coro Coro Report

The latest issue of Coro Coro Comics is now available on Japanese news stands. Unfortunatly for us, the magazine once again fails to deliver any news regarding the "mystery Rockman game"; only bits and pieces about the upcoming summer World Hobby Fair, Wave Masters 2009 and a slew of SSR3 strategies. Notably, a new "Crown Data" will be distributed to the winner of the Wave Master tournament.

Word on what will be covered in the following issue (August) has yet to surface.

No Plans For Mega Man 9 On PC

With the recent trend of porting popular home console titles onto Steam, one wonders if Mega Man 9 will get a similar treatment. What say you Mr. Svensson?

"Sorry, there's no plans for a PC MM9 version."

If you've been waiting for a PC version of the title, best not to hold your breath.

Mega Man 9 Remix Project Updates

A couple of updates coming from the Mega Man 9 Remix Project:

A majority of the tracks are looking to be "finalized" by early September. If all goes according to plan, the project in its entirety will release a short while later. Worst case scenario however, it could be delayed till December.

On the superficial side of things, the artwork for the project is shaping up quite nicely; a few more teaser images were added to the gallery section. Very, very cool.

Finally, the mixer section received a small update. The track list now includes a "skipped tracks" category, tunes that won't make it into the final album due to length. They are as follows:

07: Game Start
17: Stage Clear
18: Get A Weapon
22: Dr. Wily UFO
23: Dr. Wily Castle
33: Game Over

Not too big of a loss if you ask me.

Star Force 3 E3 Trailer Hits Nintendo Channel

The E3 2009 trailer for Mega Man Star Force 3 is now available for viewing through the North American Nintendo Channel, a specialty video service on Wii.

Hopefully, this is an indication of a forthcoming downloadable demo hosted on the Nintendo Channel for use on Nintendo DS systems.

Blast From The Past: 15th Anniversary Commercial

Featuring a harem of kids proclaiming their love for Mega Man while screens from various Battle Network titles flash by. Not too bad if you ask me, a lot less painful than this atrocity.
