Thee Roll-themed wallpaper on the right was specially created to celebrate Valentine's Day. The bottom wallpaper is for your desktop. It's a hi-res version of the Mega Man 11 Original Soundtrack cover art. You can download all these wallpapers right here!

Watch Mega Ran and Bit Brigade's Live Performances at MAGfest 2019

Fan-favorite Bit Brigade and Mega Ran headed back to MAGfest this year to perform live shows. They don't need any kind of introduction for veteran Mega Man fans, but just in case you need a little introduction, Bit Brigade is a band that performs rock covers of full NES game soundtracks while speedrunning live. Mega Ran, meanwhile, is a "nerdcore" rapper that became notoriously famous among Mega Man fans with his 2007 album, "Mega Ran", a tribute album to Mega Man with rap lyrics. You may also remember him for his appearance in the Mega Man 30th Anniversary livestream where Mega Man 11 was announced. He also had a song featured in Mighty No. 9.

Mega Man 2 composer Takashi Tateishi attended both Bit Brigade and Megan Ran's concerts. Although he didn't perform, Tateishi actually had the chance to do some singing with Mega Ran (speaking of Takashi Tateishi, you may want to check what he had to say about Mega Man 2's development).

No Plans to Release the Rockman X 25th Anniversary Music Albums on CD

We reached out the publisher of the new Rockman X piano and band arranged albums to find out if it will be released on CD. According to them, they have no plans to release either album on CD at this time. They chose the "digital only" format in order to reach a wider, international audience.

GMSTORE Corp. seems to be a small label with not much work done before this particular Rockman X project. Releasing a physical CD worldwide not only would be a logistical challenge, but it presents a financial risk for them as well. It seems their goal is to offer equality for fans in both Japan and beyond, rather than doing a physical release just for Japan and a digital only version for the rest of the world (which has been pretty typical lately).

They are tackling an ambitious project here; literally creating two albums for each game in the X series (minus the Game Boy games). That's a total of 20 albums, 790 songs plus an additional ensemble album with 10 songs selected by fans.

The success of this project rests in our hands! Head over to the GM Store to listen some samples and decide by if it's something you'd be interested in.
