The debut of Mega Man X DiVE Offline shed some light on content that the development team hadn't had the chance to implement initially: Eregion (Mega Man X4's Opening Stage boss), Violen (an X-Hunter from Mega Man X2), and the desire to include Prometheus (ZX) as a playable character.
And now, thanks to the recently-released Rockman X DiVE Illustration Collection book, we have even more details about content that didn't make the cut.

If you're still on the fence about grabbing Mega Man X DiVE Offline, you can now try out a free demo. The demo, available for download on Steam and the Google Play Store, includes the complete Story Mode Chapter 8 and offers a range of characters and weapons to test out.
Additionally, the full game is 34% off for a limited time on iOS and Android, priced at $19.90 instead of the regular $29.99. The discount is set to end on January 21, 2024. The global version of Mega Man X DiVE continues to carve its own path, surprising players with a new character not available in the Taiwanese or Japanese versions of the game. In the same vein as S-Class Hunter X and S-Class Hunter Zero, Massimo is getting his own S-rank version.

Mega Man X DiVE Offline launched just yesterday, and players wasted no time diving into the small, but fresh content introduced in this edition. Among the highlights are a brand-new music track, a new ending sequence, and even a delightful surprise in the form of two unused bosses making an unexpected appearance during the closing credits.

In case you needed a reminder, Mega Man X DiVE Offline is officially a-go. The game is now available to download on Steam, the Google Play Store, and the App Store. It'll set you back $29.99. No micotransactions, no additional DLC - it's a one time payment. Also, contrary to early speculation, an internet connection is not required to play the Steam version.
In a nutshell, Mega Man X DiVE Offline retains most of the original game's content: 100+ characters, stages, and modes. However, online features such as Battle Mode, Co-op, Ranking, Guild, and Capsule naturally didn't make the cut. Crossover content based on Street Fighter, Devil May Cry, and Monster Hunter won't be making an appearance either. There's currently no plan to include them down the line.
A final note if you missed it: save data transfer from the original version is not possible. You'll have start the game over from scratch. Not a terrible loss if you're new to X DiVE, but for those who've been around since the beginning, I feel you.

In the latest Mega Man X DiVE video update, the spotlight turned to Asada So, the producer of the offline version. He took the opportunity to reveal further details about the game's development. It's a little over 4 minutes long, but if you're in a hurry, here's the noteworthy bits:
Capcom has announced that service for Rockman X DiVE will end on September 27 2023 at 13:00 JST. The shutdown is anticipated to affect all game versions, including Steam. There is currently no word on the semi-independently operated Global version by NebulaJoy. UPDATE: Global version will remain online "indefinitely"
DiVE Armor Zero is based on the level 80 armor with some color changes. If you want to know more about his design, you can check this brief Q&A session with Keisuke Mizuno.
When it comes to the game's other servers, the EU server will get Bass Cross MegaMan with a single free 10-pull and the LATAM server will get Eratoeir with a single free 10-pull too.

You can expect the usual rewards from the event reward list with the card "Rabbit? Easter eggs!" as the main attraction. Easter Roll's capsule comes packed with a free 10-pull.

Lastly, the next round of the Guild Boss event will take place in all servers. The North American and EU servers will tackle Sigma (X3 1st Form) and the LATAM server will fight against Hell Sigma.

What's more? A special Valentine's Day Capsule featuring Valentines Day Ciel and Valentines Day Iris will be available. Players can get a free 10-pull voucher on the 7th day login.
When it comes to new DNA Code, ViA, Valentines Day Ciel and Valentines Day Iris will get theirs unlocked. Meanwhile, the European and LATAM servers will receive Super Bass with a single free 10-pull in his gacha capsule.
Super Bass, Valentines Day Ciel and Valentines Day Iris DNA Code will unlock. Both servers will get the same Valentine's Day Capsule and free voucher as the North American server.
Lastly, all servers will get the chance to fight against X4 Sigma's 3rd form in the third round of the Guild Boss event.
Next week on the global version of Mega Man X DiVE, the European and LATAM servers are finally getting Gaea Armor X. Meanwhile, the North American server will see the return of Street Fighter V collab characters Ryu, Chun-Li and Akuma. No new characters are expected.

Next week, the global version of Mega Man X DiVE will see the addition of Dr. Light the Martial Artist to the North American server, while the European server will welcome Droit and Angie, who have already had an early release on the North American server. Additionally, the Latin American server will receive Dark MegaMan.EXE.

Coming to the global version of Mega Man X DiVE next week, all servers will start the new year celebrations with the limited character New Year Iris, and a rerun of "The Auspicious Dream of the New Year" event stage.
The capsule comes packed with a single free 10-pull and the ability to unlock the DNA Code for New Year Cinnamon, Falcon Armor X and X-kai will be available too. New Year Iris' DNA Code will be distributed at a later date.
What's more? A Special PICKUP Capsule featuring Falcon Armor, X-kai and the Singularity Slasher saber will be available too. Through daily login rewards, players can grab a free 20-pull, 10 on the third day and another 10 on the tenth day.
All players will receive a set of 40 memories of Ultimate Armor X and a chance to win the Ultimate Armor X AC Ver skin if the game's official YouTube Channel reaches 5k subscribers and 3k likes on this video.
