First Mega Man: Dual Override Goods Coming in October

Capcom quietly dropped pre-orders for three new pieces of Dual Override merchandise on E-Capcom this morning, all based on the game’s key art. Interestingly, some of the items feature a less-cropped version of the illustration, giving us a clearer look at Mega Man’s Mega Buster and lower body.

The lineup includes a muffler towel, an NFC-enabled keychain that unlocks AR content when scanned with a phone, letting fans take photos with Mega Man and listen to a looping piece of music from Dual Override, and a simple tote bag that looks well-suited for travel.

All three items are currently slated to ship on October 15 and, for now, appear to be exclusive to Japan.

  1. That's some interesting choices for the first merch... but I guess these items are aimed at accessibility for the average person. Far too early to be dropping figures and such. Even then, the keychain is certainly an idea.

  2. Damn that’s a big buster! Bro’s carrying a small trash can on his arm!

A music preview is exciting, but since this is 6 months from now, who knows if we’ll hear it sooner…

  3. Uhm... what about showing some more details about the game (more gameplay footage, overview of features, show Proto Man) before announcing the crappy souvenier-type merch? (it's literally using stock artwork)

    1. The game doesn't come out until next year, give them time

    2. And yet they're already announcing garbage trinkets like these to come out before the end of the year

    3. Recuerda que de estas baratijas depende la franquicia (por ejemplo si BN no vendía mercadería no habrían pasados del segundo juego)

  4. Wonder how long it'll take before that music is ripped and shared online
